Okay, Cristiona, I'll be more specific. While it seems you have fixed the chat so you cannot just change channel=... to make a new channel this still works with negative numbers. Don't forget about Elementals! When I first got ice lightning bolt it was doing the same damage as ice bolt despite costing twice as much! That was a while ago so it might have been changed or I might have been used some sort of gear that made it do that but still - anecdotal evidence!

Not really sure where to put this but it is trivial to write a greasemonkey script to replace your name in chat to whatever you fancy. Not particularly exploitable but could be used to impersonate an admin or something? Maybe something to consider when building the new chat?

None of the parser functions I tried work. You may be stuck defining templates for each individual element. I changed it so it the element template calls the templates for the different elements. If anyone knows or has the actual colours of the elemental damage saved feel free to change the colours...
