And apparently the Silver Star I had listed with a 525,000 buyout was sold for 11,000. Uh, how the heck did that happen?

It seems that the AH decided to up and end all active auctions at some point in time, for whatever the price currently was.

I blame Satan.

I'm not sure what happened, but I haven't changed the code in any significant way in quite a while, so my best guess is there was a momentary issue with the server clock. I'll keep looking into it.

The unfortunate thing is, it's going to be very difficult or near impossible to attempt to undo the damage done. Best I can say is, if you were the seller of something very valuable and lost a ton of money due to the error, let me know and I'll try to make up for it.

My theory is supported by a chat message inserted with a timestamp of year 2034. Something must have blipped badly on the server clock.

I blame the server administrators. And your clock. And their inability to fix it. >.>

Its actually quite plausible that the Hadron Collider had something to do with this. Possibly, a player from 2034 decided to go back in time, disguised as a Higgs particle to experience the Now World-renown noir superhero game before it was famous thinking that he or she or it might be able to grab some Rares from previous Wok items. But unfortunately, since the data that would be used for this person to log in would be non-existent for a few decades, it created a paradox loop sub-routine in which the Auction House crashes at the exact time that they made contact in chat every day.

It's so obvious.
