In spirit of the Ouch... thread, I've decided to make a "POW!" thread, so basically, record your damage and record who it's against. You can put the equipment and buffs if you want.

I'll start us off...

4.7k against one of the new monsters (can't remember which zone, sadly) with the Torch of Nug using Maul of the Cave Bear. Woo!

Cris had 19k or so against a cannonball enemy. I've not yet tried for insane damage with my furnace of yeb and 15 total ranged attacks with a crit >.>

Just now against a Thug (not that this is even remotely fair...)

In a slightly more fair fight against an Effigy of Hate:

You attack ... You have a critical hit! You hit 12 times for 4478 +60 +5 +10 damage.

I've neither of the top-tier weapons, so I'll just offer results from my standard weapon and a bit from none but my fists. Static damage boost from Ring can be ignored if you'd like.

Trident:
flying polyp - Ancient Crypts
You hit 6 times for 342 +10 damage.
You have a critical hit! You hit 8 times for 744 +10 damage.

ShockWave - Row vs. Wade
You hit 4 times for 325 +10 damage.

big thug - Your Neighborhood
You hit 9 times for 5305 +10 damage.
(You gain some of your opponent's life force. You gain -0 hit points.
You gain some of your opponent's energy. You gain -0 power points.)

Fists:
big thug - Your Neighborhood
You hit for 194 +10 damage.

Nothing horribly spectacular, but it works exceedingly well.

Wow... yeah, that destroys us lower-level folks.

I'm at level 59, and current stats of:
STR: 610
INT: 603
REF: 821 (627)

and I can hit a thug/pickpocket for between 7100-7900 using Trident of Nodens and no buffs.

Wow. This is seriously wrong. As I said, with the torch and full buffs and equip, and my stats skewed towards strength, I crit a thug for 5462. Right? I just got a furnace of yeb now, and with no buffs I crit for 30k. Wtf?

There comes a point where the bonus hits from ranged weapons outstrip the strength bonuses from melee.

Poor Troutmaster. Bedivere's + Bouncy Battery Ball + Stun Gas + his weakness to electricity:

Too bad I didn't record the POWs with the bugged arcane scholars, there was over a million.

Maul with torch, trashing a plowman just a little bit more (nuts!):

They are so baked ... (furnace, meet tough biker)

And not just once, but 12 times for a jaw dropping 42686 + 58 damage.

Here's a cheap one:
