SUPER AWESOME CONTEST!

I have a (hopefully) fun contest to bring to the inhabitants of Twilight...

NAME MY NEW KITTEN!

Me and my roommates acquired a kitten about two weeks ago and have yet to come up with a name for it. Our failed attempts include such names as Atilla the Cat and The Stig. So, I come to my fellow super heroes to help me out here. So, the rules:

1. This contest will run for a week. Please send me a message in-game with your entry before rollover on Tuesday, November 25. (same name in game)

2. No more than three names per person.

And that's it, not too difficult. If you're interested in what my kitten looks like, I'll post links to a couple of pictures. Also, you may be interested to know that this cat is out of her mind (yes, its a girl). She tears around the apartment at top speed and bites everything. When she's not doing those kinds of things, she's actually incredibly sweet and excruciatingly cute.

The prizes will be as follows:

1st place: Special Wooden Cup talisman and 10k chips
2nd place: Corrupt Amulet and 7k chips
3rd place: 5k chips

So it sounds pretty rad, right? Well, to make it a little more interesting I'm going to make this a multi-game contest. I'm going to be running a similar naming contest in my clan in Kingdom of Loathing with prizes of similar value and for the same amount of time (one week). Between the winner of that contest and this one I will choose one ULTIMATE WINNER! If the victor comes from here, Twilight Heroes, then they will receive an additional 25k chips. And one final perk, if the ultimate winner, again, is from TH, then everyone who has submitted an entry will get a little something extra from me.

So, that's a lot of words. I hope everyone got that all down. If you have questions, go ahead and ask. Now please send me lots and lots of awesome kitten names!

She's soooo lovely! The pics made me go AWWWWWW out loud in an empty house. Then I showed her to my brother and sister and we all went AWWWWW together. I'll message some name ideas.

THE RESULTS!

1st: Hannahmaus with the name Molly. The best part is that I was already thinking about naming the kitten that before this contest. Awesome.

2nd: Sinshlad with the name Tiberius.

3rd: Mischal with Zorg, destroyer of worlds!

Congratulations, folks! I had lots of great entries and it was rather difficult to pick a winner. However, you are all also failures because my KoL clan beat you guys out for the ULTIMATE WINNER! And for the curious ones, the ultimate name is Kitsune, which is apparently Japanese for fox and abbreviates nicely to just Kitty.

Hey, it's my contest and I can do as I please.

However, that also just goes to show how uncreative I am when it comes to naming things. The past few cats that I've had included the following names: Baby Kitty, Fuzzy, Orangey, and Big Fluffy. I like my adjectives.

Kitty was what my sister suggested right before Molly, and I said "she's running a big contest on 2 games, I can't suggest Kitty". I wish I had, it's a great name for a cat!

No! I like it! The winning entry was Kitsune which is a great name, and Kitty's a good name for a cat, plus there's great comic value in Kitty winning (even though it was really Kitsune), so it's just made of win all round!
