Right. For things that aren't equippable, or things that you just don't want to have equipped for whatever reason, you need some place to show them off. For example, Cristiona's sig currently proclaims that she's collecting trucks and claims she has 26. I could do that, too and would have no way of proving it. If there were display cases, or glass-doored garages, she could prove her huge collection, and I would be shown as an imposter with only 5.

Some of us like to collect things, and then show others what we've collected. It's not necessarily a matter of ego or e-peen, as is evidenced by the fact that I'm collecting trucks even though nobody can see my collection. I would still like to be able to put them on display, if for no other reason than the fact that updating my sig is a pain in the neck.

Regardless, it's really just a matter of personal preference in the game. There's at least one player trying to get 1 of everything, too. I know display cases (of some kind) aren't high on the list, and might never happen, but I'd like to see them.

Actually, one way to do them would be a "Trophy Room" in the hideout. This wouldn't be public, but it would be a place to put the spoils of battle. This probably comes to mind because I just watched Sky High, but the concept of a room to store a hero's trophies from their exploits isn't that uncommon in the superhero genre.
