"Wear things"

Talk about the game. What game? The game with the power? What power? The power of ... aw, skip it.

"Wear things"

Post by TheK3vin »

Maybe this is just me not approaching things with an open mind, but shouldn't "Wear Things" read "Equip" or "Equip Items?" It just sounds a bit more formal or whatever.

Anyone else's opinion? I still kinda feel like "Wear Things" just sounds a little odd...

Wear things works for me. I kinda like the casual language, especially considering how pretentous superheroes tend to be.

I like the length of the phrase. It's a link I'll probably be using more than most of the others, so it should be longer and more obvious than the others.

So, are you telling us, when you have one of those bad dreams where you're up in front of a large audience or at school, and you look down, you say to yourself, "Oh no! I forgot to equip my pants today!"?

Other than video games and camping expeditions, I can't think of many cases where I'd say to myself that I needed to equip something rather than saying I was going to wear it or carry it. Sure, it's common parlance in game terms, but sometimes you have to dare to be different. By doing what most people would consider normal. .... or something.

I think "All Things" will suffice.

That way, you can put in some things that are wise and wonderful without having to change it.

My vote is for "Stuff" too. Isn't is the proper plural form of 'things'?
