concerning a farming outfit, what price limit are you thinking about? i ask because the "ideal" item drop outfit would easily cost over 50 dollars (in silver stars) to get. (hero's cape/wolleys index, judo kid gloves, hobbes boots, and highly implausible script could easily cost that much) Are you looking no Iotm or some?

For no IoTM, i would recommend imperial diadem, short end/bow of the stick, xentrium breastplate, sticky gloves, xentrium breeches, prefontane's shoes, binoculars, citrine ion stone, recycler's bin, your choice of range 5 transportation, clockwork kangaroo sidekick. Adventure in the castle. get 6-7 lustrous liquids a day and use them to make philtres of fortunes, then fight the chemist after that. Always leave the store room emptyhanded. Sell excess stroop in the AH, and find a recyclonizer for the rest of it for a little extra chips at the end of the day.

Find people to buff you with snout and MD. If you are lucky enough to be a psion, use keen observation.

I assumed you meant chip farming via item selling when you siad farming. There are other types of farming (such as UR farming, peggy farming, the such) which have different loadouts.

Some of the donation items BM mentioned could easily be 50 stars all by themself.

For a low level character, villain's are probably the way to go. Get yourself a Recycler's Bin and Xam's Pouch of Generosity. Also, look into getting the ASX software and start grinding that up, at the top level, you'll be gifted with Binoculars, which are pretty good +items.

You'll also want a Short End of the Stick or a Long Arm of the Law for items and chips respectively.

Much of the other farming gear is too high a level for you, but you could also look into Sticky Gloves or Coldfinger Gloves (although, they're -5 to hit).

If you're having a hard time surviving, look into getting ahold of some ARF passes and see about making yourself a Databelt (+4 HP and PP per turn). A cheaper version would be seeing about a Lover's Locket, but you'd need to trade for that too (until you unlock the Cube).

Also, if you haven't started adventuring with the Black Box (from the Criminology lab Downtown), you should. The Precompletion Certificate will be a huge help, by giving you an extra 30 minutes every day.

The precompletion pro skill doesnt give you 30 minutes extra a day unless you are going to 7 AM every day.

So starting every day at 5:30pm instead of 6:00pm isn't giving you an extra half hour?

Of course it does. When you start a day, your bedtime is 9:30 (plus any leftover time from yesterday, up to 3pm). That's 3:30 hrs of play without precompletion, 4:00 hrs with precompletion. It has nothing to do with going to 7AM or not.

No, there's high level gear that's Lovecraft inspired. Since you can't even unlock the zones for another 11 levels, I wouldn't worry about it.

You get the clock at 29.....but you aren't ready for most of the zones that open up then. Insanity scales, so you can go there at any time. The Underwater City is more for level 40+, Depths of Space is for 50/55+, and the Crypts are for 70+.
