Re: Make pulls carry over?

What's the point of having restrictions if you can get around them by just not using them for a few days and then starting off with 15 immediate pulls in a 5 Pulls run?

Re: Multiversal Summer Catalog

The one you ask for does have a higher percentage. As for the gong being the shining star it depends a lot on play style, availability of items, goals, and a lot of other factors. I use the gong right now only because it lets me also wear the subscriber's jacket for the vouchers. If not for that, I'...

Re: Multiversal Summer Catalog

I've been summoning the Gong for the last 3 days. I do 6 casts, and usually get the Gong on the 3rd or 4th call. So yeah, you may not have a 100% chance at getting the item you want. But I'd say the chances are almost perfect if you can do half a dozen or more casts. If it's the beginning of a run a...

They're not really rare items, anyway. Just new. The recipes were only put in a week ago, give people time to make them and I'm sure they'll show up in the mall.

Re: Stop the Space Station Madness

The extra mettle isn't the reason it takes a week to open the space station, just a minor reward for doing it. It's a single piece of mettle, and anyone with average speed could complete two 5 mettle runs in that time. There's a whole narrative behind the reason it takes so long, something that prob...

I have it happen once or twice a month, usually when trying to get into Inventory or Wear Things. I just have to close the tab, wait about 5 minutes, and bring it back up to log in and get moving again. Deleting cookies would probably work, I just never think to do it.

Re: Old IotM Reintroduction and Old/New Balance [Split]

I fail to see the problem with a clear gap between donation and non-donation items. Isn't that the point? Yes. Yes, it is. Donation gear requires you spending your own money, thus rewarding you with an easier path. It is the same in every game in the free-to-play model, yet someone always finds a r...

Re: Old IotM Reintroduction and Old/New Balance [Split]

If you compare this to KoL the difference is that in KoL there is actually a market with a supply of old IOTM:s. Here however, there are items which are not gettable at all. I'm sure that's why there are tons of Jill-O-Lanterns and Hand Turkeys available in their mall, and why my Jekyllin Hide Belt...

Re: Create a new AA script

The problem is caused by the latest version of Greasemonkey. You can either load up the older version, or the newest beta version (under Download Channel on the greasemonkey site) to solve the issue. Or wait until a newer version is released, which should be soon since so many people are having issu...

Re: Create a new AA script

Something seems to be screwing with the autoadventure script. On both my computers, it will run a turn but then at the end of the turn the script boxes disappear until I manually initiate the next turn. They're still there if I only set it to run a single turn, as painful as that is. Happening with ...

TNT is stupidly overpowerful. Really, truly, insanely stupid. I don't know what I was thinking. You were thinking how cool it would be! Obviously. If it weren't for an area like S7G, no one would even use TNT outside of boss fights and maybe to fight above their level when they need a few hundred x...

Re: Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.

Instead of making old IotMs available, again, take a page out of KoL's book and make new ones that closely mimic their old counterparts, but with a minor change in focus. This would allow new players to get items that closely fill the shoes of past items, but still maintain the “value” of old items...

Re: non-retcon contest - starting Mar 1st (new rules)

It is a requirement to complete the run, and jump into a new run so that I can see the time stamp of the completed run. If I don't require that, then there's nothing to stop someone from talking to Susan at level 11 to drop restrictions and speed past everyone else.

You can beat the Mick any time your heart desires. You just can't finish the run, aka go into the last room and talk to Susan, until you hit 50.

It's a race. As soon as you hit level 50, complete the run and post in the thread. If multiple people claim it in the same day, I'll base it on the earliest run time finish.

non-retcon contest - completed

I'm planning to take a break from runs soon, so I figure this is a great time for a contest that goes deep into aftercore. The premise: A race to level 50! When it starts: run must begin after rollover of Feb 29th Run requirements: Run can not end until you level up to 50. Once you hit level 50, you...

There's a good question: how come no one sells TNT at a decent price anymore? The ones I had in at 800 chips are sold out, and the next best for the longest time was 5k. Even now, it's 2.5k to get a piece.

If you're having issues, there's no need to grind. Complete the Level 11 B quest, obtained from the retired hero in Somerset, and that should get you to level 12. That should give you Firestorm, which I believe will make the Mick much easier.
