I was fighting one of the swarms in Astral Bandlands. I used some shocker pens, and then a physical attack, using a morning star(which drains PP). And I got this 'You gain some of your opponent's energy. You gain -3 power points. ' Don't rememberif I *actually* lost Pp though. I don't really know h...

Spy items only have a chance of dropping after combats. For coding reasons more than anything else.Muhandes wrote:Also, healing is done after both combats and noncombats. I expected so of item drops as well, but have yet to see a drop after a noncombat.

December IotM: International agent of intrigue
The agent will attack in combat (similar to karate expert), may heal at the end of combat (not quite but roughly double the HP restore [only HP, no PP] of a massage therapist) and at the end of combat sometimes drops items which grant spy-themed buffs.

Yep, in general trades are a bad idea on the forums. It takes the most transient of actions and makes a permanent record, and is just bad data for anyone who stumbles on it later. The circumstances here are a little weird, and I don't have a good answer for that at the moment. I think the answer may...

Re: Minor bugs
You're confusing "can't be auto-sold" with "can't be sold." Throwing stars can be sold to other people, and do have a minimum price set on them because they're 1/5 of an item of the month, which has a standard price of 1000. It's true they can't be autosold, but they still have t...

Actually, thinking about it, is there anybody out there besides Muh who would want to buy one of these? Maybe the answer is just to make arrangements for him to make a trade with me, if he's the only one. I can't tell if any of the others are interested, or just discussing in a philosophical sense.

I think the biggest reason games like TH don't let you change your e-mail is to prevent someone from password-guessing into your account, changing the email address, and therefore making it impossible for you to ever recover your account. Yeah. Though there are workarounds. Such as emailing a notic...

I would be a bad programmer if potential bugs from using two kept me from implementing them. Broken poll is broken. Where's the "I'm Ryme and I'm not going to do this" option? Short of it is, the gear is primarily designed for "no pulls" runs. In those runs, ideally it's enormously useful. Having one is great, having a lot would be too many, and remove the strategic choi...

Going to do my first post-retcon Tea Time this Tuesday.
The next "Tea Time with Ryme" will be Tuesday, November 23 at 8:00 p.m. US Mountain time (roughly 1:10 before rollover), for a live Q&A session about the game.
If you can't make it, feel free to post questions here.

about talisman wok items, this Dec

It's a very accurate combat skill that results in a punch. You're not using your weapon, so no weapon effects are involved. The others are combat skills that result in weapon attacks.

Re: Minor bugs
Rollover code checks your points at rollover. Retcon shifts the points from current to lifetime stats.
I can see why there would be conflicting desires to collect your item and also get on with your next retcon, but in this case you'll have to choose one or the other.

Galleria quest has always been able to be unlocked at level 1. Sidekick names only randomly generate if you don't have a name already.
