Petition to make Nocturne items free pulls
There are a few reasons for this: 1. Mettle is a free pull, as are mettle-based assemblies, so things purchased from mettle should probably be free pull 2. None of the items purchased from the store are game-breaking, and /all/ of them have sufficient level requirements. 3. As it is, if you're in a ...

Re: Pulls vs Perms
I agree - and i understand. What bugs me is that people complain about pulls - yet they'll quite happily disregard skills. I'm not placing you or anyone who's posted in this thread in that category, but everytime i've used skills wisely, my run(s) have been made much faster. It's conceivable that s...

Re: Pulls vs Perms
How many of us have been screwed for want of a data plate or memory tube? Or a swingline stapler? And if you don't get screwed building your computer, that probably means you won't have a source of mangled data plates to decrypt for software, which means no Giganto or Garcias. What if your running ...

Re: Favorite Quest/Mechanic
I like the level 9 quest - it has a nice 'puzzle'(easy once you figure it out/spoil it though), and can be made significantly faster through +NCs. Also, bit of a Shakespare fan here so I'm slightly biased  I dislike the level 5 one because of the excessive swing on getting cards to decrypt. I ...

Re: Fastest Retcon Time
I think there are several ways of doing this type of run that would be pretty simple...just very tedious and time-consuming. Farm tons and tons of SQUID discs, RETCON, use 'em on a Frayday, and get to level 30 without using a single turn. That'd grant a lot of turns to be used. Valera's method may ...

According to the wiki, the forgotten etiquette disc is about 75% drop. If you use the attache case, that's 100% right there. Your only limitation is getting the elderly lady - granted I don't know what her rate is, but... I've been collecting about 45/day, with maxed out +combat. It's ~200turns/day...

Rolled dahl doll, seeking solitude, inky as mother night, mummer's gloves. That's how I would do it - if I had stealth and mental magnetism permed, I could switch over from inky as mother night once I had a decent supply of PP. I would probably level up from 1 to 2, since it's only 50 xp, and then s...

Not sure how and I don't see why this turned into a issue with Val's run discussion but what it seems Satan is offended by is that Val came up with a pretty damn good pulls run. Equipment in general and Discs in particular are the key ingredients to having the "optimal" pulls runs. How is...

The Casino quest is actually my least favorite... Largest bottleneck in the game. Depending on the RNG, it can take an entire day's worth of turns. I think it would help if the VIP /always/ dropped the ripped card. Atleast then, it'd somewhat reduce the ridiculous amount of time spent on it. I was a...

Actually, it kinda balances itself. As it only works for one turn and is assumedly very limited in usage, it wouldn't be viable for much. And it's not like the bosses before Mick are actually very difficult, not nearly enough to require anything like this. I was more thinking it would make the Mick ...

There should be an item that gives an effect which causes your stats to be from lifetime instead of current, for a single turn. Like, it causes you to recover your lost memories for a short while. >.>

One, that was a critical hit. Two, I didn't say you needed cheater items. You simply needed a few more buffs/better items than the rest of the classes.

Two things, the latter of which I forgot to copy and paste. If you equip a suit, then equip a pair of pants, it says: "Shirt unequipped. You equip the pants." When clearly it's a suit you're unequipping to get that message. Second, when you relearn a skill in a run that you already know, t...

The rejected rogue's quest doesn't pick up on transmogrification. If you start the quest from one hint person, transmog, and visit the new hint person, they act as though they were the ones who had given you the quest. Which is disappointing, because I was hoping transmog could get the other quadran...

No... CN clearly said 'sport', so obviously that means Hockey, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, MMA, Boxing, Rugby, Aussie Rules, and Football only. Baseball and soccer are games, not sports (interesting or not - pretty much in that order, too). Although soccer hooligans could be allowed. They're closer to ...

It's not that they can't read English, it's probably that they prefer to use their primary language wikipedia. Similar to how we in the US using the US google search tend to find things written in our language, they probably find things written in their language.

24+56(roughly sleep)+8(roughly homework)= 88 hours. That's not taking into account travel times between class, which is generally 2 hours a week.
