The note in the bottom of the popup should be the number of heirloom runs completed with the item. A little confusing for the heirloom reward items, now that you mention it, but it actually shows up for anything you've heirloom'd. I think you misunderstood what he meant. He meant that he thought the gum itself wouldn't be consumed on use, so you could use it for another run later. I think. Oh, yeah, I misread "gum" as "gun" and thought he was talking about the taffy puller. So, I figured he wanted another...

FYI, I turned Mind Bender into taffy twice , so I finally just defeated him normally to finish the quest. Yeah, that's why I was saying it doesn't hurt anything. It doesn't count as actually defeating that enemy, so it's just confusing that you can turn people into taffy then fight them again. Chee...

Questions on the 'Better the longer they're in the family' modifier: Does choosing not to do an heirloom run reset the bonus? Does choosing a different item for heirloom run reset the bonus? I think that has more to do with dealing a 100 power weapon than the which weapon. Tricksy, those, but should even out on higher-level opponents.

Maybe I'm understanding wrong... I did 2 heirloom runs with the googles this time. One got me the swimsuit (yay!) but the other netted nothing. Enemy fumbles are uncapped? Still not showing on character page, but still marked as "** Fumble and critical hit values are capped at +/- 20%." in description of Virtual Lad's goggles. They're capped, it just wasn't being factored in properly for the display. If you see any other weirdnes...

Can we get some sort of overview page with total modifiers -- from all equipment, effects, passives, etc... ? Right now, when I want to know if equipping something would hit a modifier limit (critical chance, combat rate) or some other sort of magic number, I have to keep track of everything myself...

I definitely don't know how to speed run. Haven't even got my merit badge for that yet. Happy to have gotten a sweet 100 damage knife for my efforts though. Which reminds me. Why isn't this a retcon option, to increase mettle by dropping point increase back down to fresh character for the run (and receiving the lost points in aftercore)?
