Apparently, with the move to the new servers the bug report and contact forms are broken--they act like they're working, but I'm not getting the emails. Also, the verification image on the forums is broken, too. Naturally, it takes a while to realize that not getting email is itself a bug. I'll be w...

Hm. Sorry about that. A teensey tiny little oversight in the rollover script left the game flagged as still being in rollover. On top of that, apparently the contact form from the home page is broken with the move to the new server, so I didn't get any email alerts that the game was done. So I didn'...

Sorry, forgot to mention, I moved rollover up an hour with the new servers. So it's now at 11:10 Eastern time. That fits a little better with my schedule -- I'm actually alert to fix things if something goes wrong. Today's rollover happened a little late because the script malfunctioned, but I've go...

Is it better then if you have to retype the name of a person if you're casting a couple of buffs on them? I was kind of following KoL's lead in this area, and assumed there was some consensus that remembering the last person was beneficial.

Actually, it's not that sidekicks aren't a priority, it's that I definitely won't be implementing them in the same sense that KoL familiars work. With the gloves, boots, always present shirts, and the talisman slot, we've already got more equipment than KoL. Throw in computers and some transportatio...

Quite frankly, you aren't going to solve 500 and database errors on (what I assume is) a bog-standard cheap shared web host. You don't have the control over the environment that you need. I think a lot of the auctions that actually went to the end of the auction weren't dispensing the chips and items at the end. Yep, that's the policy for now. Once we have spoiler-safe areas, like a newbie channel, etc., I'll lift the restriction a little. But unless someone goes out of their way to find a spoiler site, I'd rather not have temptation thrown at them if they're having fun and just looking for a hint.
