Re: castle H weirdness

Thanks Ryme! No more super beetles, and now it's showing the proper +1 for psychic damage instead of the full +8 from the Wolley's. I should have noticed that sooner. >.>

Re: castle H weirdness

On my alt, Lord Jareth, the Clockwork Beetle has been the one with mega HP for three days now. Usually around 2200 it seems. Tried out all 3 of the Naturalist combat skills on it today, and even though it says they did huge amounts of damage (400-800) I still had to sit through 12-13 rounds of hitti...

Re: Psionic attacks and other robot related issues

Don't forget about the Electronic Understanding skill...that lets you use some of the Psion attacks against some robots after level 11.

I would gladly paper Austin with all kinds of flyers for the game, if someone could just put a good one together.

Re: High-level content coming soon-ish?

Hmmm...guess I'll put of the transmogging for a while. Glad the heads up didn't come a week later. :)

Can't wait to see what you come up with Ryme. Is Cris working on the writing again for some of this?

Re: March's spading bounty

Actually, selling one of each ultra rare at current prices would leave you very, very short of being able to buy an Aegis. Those things are super expensive.

If you add up all the times I've leveled, I'd be around 700. Of course, if you just add up all the xp I've had I would probably only be around 100 or so.

Glad you've had most of the same issues, CS. Makes me feel better, even though I think a new, "superior" DVD player should be working faster and not slower. Once a movie is paused, if I hit the pause button again it doesn't seem to do anything. I'll play around with that feature some more ...

It's one of the Sony models, so it shouldn't be a quality issue. I'm just wondering if I need to take it in and exchange it.

Blu-ray questions

So I got a Blu-ray player for Christmas, and I've got a couple of questions. Should it really take 10-15 seconds for the tray to open every time I want to put in/take out a disk? Why does the fast forward/rewind not advance smoothly like a regular DVD player? Why does the pause feature not have some...

If you gather the parts for the positronic, a lot of helpful gadgeteers will put it together for you for free.

The ASX "chips" are not real chips, just so you know. You should have the rewards within 3 or 4 days if you use it, though.

First thing, you should get another positronic computer to replace the regualar electronic.

My opinion would be to run the time saving software along with the penny pinching software, but the extra xp software would be a good choice as well.

Conversely, some of us are against having the game get overly quest filled. I like playing a game for the acheivements (collecting, badges, finding rare items) rather than being forced to fill a set of requirements before I can advance. That's the biggest reason I stopped playing kol after NS13.

I'm enjoying the extra 3 turns per day I'll get with it. I'll probably still use the Exosuit when I start transmogging again, though.

How about an easier way of searching through players? Arrow buttons next to player ID numbers so that we can go back and forth without having to do "/whois", perhaps.

Speaking of Tad Williams, his Otherland series is pretty good. It's kind of a modern fantasy series, taking place in an online environment. Very entertaining.
