Re: State of the Game 2015

Just been lurking here and listening to feedback, but figured I'd chime in since I'm also posting on the related thread. I'm glad folks enjoyed the recent event, although I agree it could have been more friendly to retconners. That's a balance that's difficult to strike. I'm also really glad people ...

Re: Kickstarter Ad Campaign

I really like the idea of being able to see a bit of the funding data. What other long-term projects are there, besides advertising? Putting away enough money so that I don't have to panic every month was the big one. Which is good for now and hopefully will remain so. I hesitate to mention the oth...

In this case, the product we're attempting to create is not the finished game, but a playerbase for the already finished game, via advertising. Re: Kickstarter Ad Campaign

For what it's worth, I just don't think Kickstarter is a good fit for advertising campaigns. KS is best used as an advertising tool in its own right. And, when we have a project that's appropriate to Kickstart, we'll probably use it that way. In any case, I do spend normal donations on advertising. ...

I actually spent quite a bit of time considering how to do something like that, but I never came up with a way that really clicked with me.

If I come up with a good way to do it, though, rest assured it'll be added in.
