Re: May's bounty - conversion/upgrade processes
By the way, the month is wrapping up very quickly so if you've got ideas, get 'em out here. You've got only 3 days (including today) left, so make it quick. Unless Ryme wants this to extend.

Oh, I had no idea they were positronic. I just assumed "robot" meant the generic electric robot. I think that's where the issue lies.

...What? Negative time means your turns are shorter. Which means you get more turns per day. I think you mean you wouldn't use items that made your turns LONGER.

I was thinking of a melee weapon or off-hand item called rubber chicken: Flavor text: You're mighty embarassed to be holding such a ridiculous looking thing, but the fact that you enemies are laughing so hard they can't move gives you a chance to vent your rage on them. But yeah, the idea of incorporating some more forms of traditional "superpower" could go both ways--it could either be way cliche, or nostalgic. Who says both at the same time is a bad thing? Toy machine eez fantastique. Although that one that reduces time MAY become a staple for a lot of...

(Someone keeps telling me that player-designed content is the future, so I'm going to let them prove it.) It's as good as the players can make it good. Did that person actually mean design as in game design of mechanics? That's a far more interesting proposition than something like Spore, where the...

The final big power is healing. Every other hero has an ability to gain back HP. I'd rather see this one have an Improved Item Use skill. Basically, this would be the ability to get back more HP and PP from restoratives, but could also be extended to more damage for combat items and more time from ...
