I assume the rename is abstainer for Oxygenarian. I would place abstainer in the same category as no caffiene and no sugar, i.e. not the actual name that will be used, but makes it easily identifiable. One way to handle that I guess would be to set up an opt-in system, but send out an email notification to everyone (or just everyone who is "idle") informing them of the ability to opt in, and also tell them about retcon.
