One wonders about the mechanics of making the Karate kitten and This, That and The Other appear. Up until today I not seen This that and the other ( but I killed it 5 times today) and have yet to see said kitten. Are they villians or semi-rare or something else?

('Cause there's also people who just collect them, like Muh. And while Muh is awesome, collecting isn't necessarily worth a Plaudit, if it's really for awesomeness...)
