Level 9/Cube reset

Talk about the game. What game? The game with the power? What power? The power of ... aw, skip it.

Level 9/Cube reset

Post by Ryme »

This quest has been reset. It's much more involved now. I know there will be questions, and possibly some unhappiness at the apparent "guess a lot" nature of the quest. I wanted to cut off some of these questions by assuring you that there ARE patterns to the answers, and that after some spading and some learning, it won't be as complicated as it looks up front.

FIRST POST.

Yay, not-so-grindy quest.

Also, one of the outcomes of the revised quest is something that will be expanded sooner or later. Probably sooner.

Also, also, anyone who has done the quest once already won't get the big financial reward a second time. First-timers will still get it.

Ryme, do selections affect reward selection, or is it the same reward?

Also, are other items like the reward in planning?

Well, there are a couple of rewards. But the one you're asking about, no that doesn't change. And yes, there will be more like that. Or more facets of the current one.

There are patterns obviously, but are you saying that once we have it all spaded we can always do it in the minimum number of turns? At this point I'm pretty sure I can make at most two mistakes.

Nope, I'm not saying you can always do it in the minimum number of turns. I am saying you shouldn't have to do much guessing though. Sounds like you may well be on to it.

Might be a minimum number of characters.
