My current venture has taken upwards of 11k minutes in a particularly deep and hot place, and has yet to yield fruit. Am I looking for a specific creature to obtain said symbol? Or does each and everyone have a chance of toting my prize?

You're looking for a specific creature, but I think it took me at least four times the time you spent there to find it, and it's not at all uncommon to spend a couple of months trying to find it.

it's just a really low percentage, compared to kols counter/time of day theory.
