Does anyone know an easy way accomplish the aforementioned task? I'm pretty sure I should be able just to get a cable to connect them but I'm not really sure what to look for.

Thanks for the help, but the first link doesn't look like the right cable. I think I need an AV to VGA cable maybe? That's what the slots have written next to them anyway. The second site doesn't want to let me in.

At this point there is no Wii to DVI/VGA monitor cable. However if your video card takes extra inputs like s-video or composite video there is a chance you can hook the wii to those inputs and use your computer monitor.
