Well, for the past few days I'd broken the code that determines fumbles and critical hits, so I don't think people were fumbling at all. It could be that "some fumbles" seems like a lot in comparison to "no fumbles". It's also possible that things still aren't quite right with that code--it's not particularly tricky, but historically I've had some problems with it.

"increased fumbles" is not the same as "guaranteed fumble".

Not saying there isn't something wrong; just that it's possible to burn several turns with The Sweats and not fumble.
