PFE Presents the Twilight Heroes ComicCon(test)So, you're an artist? You want to show off your skills and get some nice swag for them? Here's what you do:
1) Pick a scene from Twilight Heroes. Anything will work. Some examples include...
-Taking down John Steele
-Finally coming across the Kraken after days of searching
-Hunching over a computer and hoping that your Decryptonomicon will finally give you enough info to make that ID card.
2) Draw the scene as if it were a page or a panel from a comic book. So, for example, you could draw a large image of your hero knocking out John Steele, put a border around it to make it look like a single panel from a comic book, add any neat effects to it in photoshop, and then send it to us.
However, if you wanted to depict an entire scene, you could do several smaller images and put them together like a page from a comic.
We’re looking for high quality artwork here, guys. Don’t think you can throw together some XKCD style stick figure shit and expect to get a prize.
3) Host the file somewhere and send an in-game message to PFE (#7929) with a link to your entry. Alternatively, e-mail it to
therum@gmail.com with your in-game information.
PrizesFirst Place: A Hero’s Cape
Second Place: The Badge Pack (333 Cosmic Crystals, 72 Fancy Lattes, 18,000 Chips for the VR Center, as well as four Brays, four Scalpels, and 16 Gingerettes.)
Third Place: One Silver Star.
RulesThe deadline for entries is December 24th at midnight, eastern standard time. Winners will be revealed some time in early January.
All entries will be posted on the forums.
Limit to one entry per person, but you can switch out your entry at any time.
We reserve the right to withhold prizes if your work is not of high enough quality. We're sure it won't come to this, but we're not giving out a Hero's Cape for something you threw together in five minutes, when we could use that later for something better.
