Floors

I have a young Flemish Giant Rabbit. I am staying with family while I look for a place. Does anyone here happen to know how much it would be to replace a destroyed hallway carpet with hardwood flooring?

Not really, no. Most places should be able to give an estimate based on square footage, though.

The lesson I have learned from this is - rabbits are fluffy and fun to pet, but do not buy one. :)

By coincidence, I was looking at hardwood flooring prices earlier this week for my house. The really cheap stuff can go for about $1/sq ft, but the decent stuff is around $2/sq ft. That doesn't count installation.

Thanks Cristiona and Mr. Dresden. It's the installation that always makes the price jump.

Rabbits can be great pets if you don't mind rabbit proofing your house. They can learn "no" but they will stand there and argue with you that you do absolutely need all of those wires cut. After all, a predator might come and what if you get tangled up? Petra was an unexpected gift. I wouldn't trade her for anything but she is young. So, she does what young bunnies do. Usually, I catch the problem and substitute something she can do but this time I didn't. That's my fault, not hers. Maybe I should rent her out for demolition projects since she is quiet and efficient.
