By the way-who was MacGuyver really? I know people always say he could fix stuff out of nothing, but how did they make that into a popular series?

'Cause Richard Dean Anderson was sexy, mostly. And, well, just a standard spy-type show. It was also mid-80's to early 90's, so it fit in nicely with other shows of the time. Like Hunter.
