So I no longer get a message telling me that my character's super jump power helps him survey more land in the Astral Badlands. Based on the amount of time my character has spent there, I'd say super-jumping no longer speeds things up there. I'm afraid I can't test flying. I might later today though.

Nothing has changed.

"Your super jump ability lets you map more of the terrain than you could have without it." Still works for me. Maybe you don't actually have super jumping or you're not doing that part of the quest?

it is not working for me, eithr with gnat glove or with high jump boots. My charater did rescue the first three guys, but I don't recall if I was getting the message then. Maybe it has been changed so you only get the bonus on the first three and not the second trio. **nevermind, i just checked the wiki an it looks like super jumping never hurried that bit.

I believe the message only appears before the first non-combat.

Yes, it only helps until you get the first non-combat. About 8 adventures if you can fly/jump and much more if you can't. From there on it's useless.
