For those interested, here is the list of prices for the stars I sold in August. I put every one in the AH for a full 3 days, initial price of 100, and no buyout.

So I did manage to get the price down a bit several times during the month, but it looks like there were still people willing to buy for over 550k occasionally.

491,684 is the average.
419,000 is the mean.

If it didn't completely screw up the game's economy, I wish there was a way to donate for X-amount of chips directly, and bypass the selling-of-stars issue.
