I was just wondering who chose what type of hero and how many there are of each. There's a poll of what you think is strongest and I thought it would be fitting to have a poll of what you are. I personally am an elementalist

I'm also elemental. I think it's a carryover from my KoL time, I spent most of it as one of the magic classes...besides, a superhero should do stuff no human can do...

I'm a psion. With a name like SpockYoda, it was inevitable that I would choose the class that gives Force-like powers. XD

Gadgeteer. Nothing quite says "Hello, I am a Superhero" like spraying my enemy with stun-gas and then laying technologically enhanced smackdown on my enemy. At least for me

The hero isn't called 'elementalist' but rather 'elemental'.

Unless Ryme changed it.

I'm a naturalist.

Do you like animals the way that I like animals?

I'm a Psion. I don't really enjoy reliance on items, which leaves out Gadgeteer... and, going back to City of Heroes and my old Champions play, Mind Control and Mental Illusions were my favorite powers. So, Psion won out over Elemental and Naturalist.

I forgot they were called Elementals and not Elementalists, though elementalists sounds more correct to me. Anyway, seems like we have a bit more elementals from the polls...I guess the idea of controlling the elements appeals more to people, huh?

Technically an elemental is an entity animated by some kind of mage or elementalist that is made up entirely of it's element. For instance, in Warcraft, a mage can create a water elemental, which is a big golem thing made completely of water. But whatever.[/b]

That there are a lot of elementalists, I can get. But more gadgeteers than psions? I just don't fathom that at all. What's the draw there?

I find the gadgeteer a facinating class...all though I don't play one, they also have a couple unique abilities...if I had to say I would say they are the most complex class at this point, therefore having a large draw

They have more health, get hit less often, hit more often, get more items, have more options and control combat better.

They are infinitely easier and more practical to play than psions. Stated from experience.

I myself am a Naturist, I use the power of nudity to -- wait, that's not this game...

Yeah, so, Naturalist here. Insects and pigs for justice!

I play gadgeteer, although I may start checking out other classes once I get some more equipment. I like the not getting hit aspect, but the combat skills are somewhat lacking.

EDIT: Just started a naturalist. Honestly, I'm not too excited by this one.

I use Psion. I was attracted by the power of using my mind

Since my last post, psions have emerged on top. Go bind menders!

Batman is a Gadgeteer. Thus, so am I.

Gadgeteer, was first on the list. And I liked "Giggles the Gadgeteer"

I wanted to be a gadgeteer, but I thought elementals would be an easier newbie class while still being interesting. And so.

It would be nice if somebody made a bartle test, except instead of looking for heart | club | spade | diamond, it woud be psion | gadgeteer | elemental | naturalist.

Psion, partly to use the name I wanted (see CIA mind control psychic assassin experiments) but also from a definite John Constantine/Dr Strange powers of the mind kind of thing.

It's tough to choose between Psion and Gadgeteer, 'cause both are ridiculously badass, but I'd go with Psion. I don't really like to have to rely on items, and if I were a Psion, I could achieve new levels of laziness.
