Starting Dec 1st and everyday in December I will be randomly giving gifts. Please don't ask me to send you anything or anything specific cause I'll be picking people out at complete random and giving anything away that i want. There are some rules to this. What i give away may seem useless to you, if so then feel free to sell it or give it to someone else. I don't care what you do with it just don't send it back with a note telling me it's useless to you.

1. There will be no rare or IOTM so don't ask.
2. Don't ask me why I'm doing this. I'm doing it because i want to.

I've gotten messages about buffs from fellow heroes, messages from the auction house, that's about it.
Although I haven't logged in today...

Yeah, that's because Chat rocks. I wish there was a list of "newest members to TH," however, because then we should shower them with stuff before they joined chat - who knows, maybe it'd encourage them TO click the ever looming "Enter Chat" button.

just type /who - the names are listed in order of date of signup, with the most recent listed last.

Or (considering you don't want to restrict yourself to those in chat) do a search for characters, using id#s to search on, and scan through sequentially to find the newest.
Bear in mind, though, that some of them will probably be alts that established players created to test something, rather than being new players.

By the way, Doc.. you are a script writer, can you make a script for random-gift-sending?

I'm sure I probably could, but I don't know that it would be something anyone would want to use. Mainly because I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of ensuring that the item(s) being given away weren't IotMs... but also there's a chance, however slight (for those who aren't Malk or Satan) of sending items/chips to one's alt. Which is the sort of thing Ryme might object to.

Now, if the script in question were limited to sending *ouch-generated items... that wouldn't be so hard.

Really, I'd need more specifics.

Is it possible to do it with items under X autosell?

Well, I'd have to have a list compiled of the items to select from. There's no reasonable way of checking autosell values from the script. (Yes, it's possible to check. It's just more work than it's worth.)

Well it's over. I know I didn't give out the best items in the game but hopefully they are of some use. Hope everyone enjoyed it.
