Too many years have passed to know the full story,
How the first feast REALLY happened in all its glory,
And now, years later, we carry on the tradition,
No chance we have in failing this mission!
Kind hearts make for us such a glorious meal,
Singing hearts are thankful for a wonderful deal!
God's own bounty displayed for us all in the land,
Into the kitchen it goes, the time now close at hand!
Vicious tummies growl for the smells waft everywhere,
Inciting within many a riotous atmosphere!
Now if you will excuse me, I have to take off,
Good food awaits me, so I head to the trough!

For some time now I have lamented over the fact that major holidays while many
Unnecessary ones are given such consideration. Pirate Day, Dress like a Ninja, but no
Christmas as an example of one of the more major holidays. But political correctness
kicks the "Merry Christmas" greeting down the pooper.

Yet another year has almost gone by and well are all still a bunch of consumer puppets
overwhelmed by the urge to go out and buy stuff while a good majority would agree that its
unnecessary to spend so much focus on the material aspects of any major social day.

Oh, that. I overlook childish things much of the time. Yeah, it was rude, but childish, hence I didn't make the connection and kept going...
**sighs with a smile**
...Oh well, time moves on for most. For some, it stands still.
