Currently in Maintenance
Hiya! You've caught the game while it's in the middle of its nightly maintenance, which we normally call "rollover." Rollover usually begins at roughly 12:10 A.M. Eastern Standard time and runs for just a few minutes. The game ought to be back online shortly.

In the meantime, if you'd like something to do, you might consider visiting the Twilight Forums.

Its been like this for about 3 hours ;/

Something wrong?

Aye Ryme be keeping the game down for a couple of days while hooking up the new servers, and what not.

Sorry to say this, but I think I'm just going to put the game on pause tonight after rollover until I can get the new servers going. I received 150 bug reports today, of which all but a handful were directly related to the lag, and the 500 errors are getting ridiculous. The longer I let this go, the more time I'll have to spend cleaning up screwy results, and I don't think anyone wants that. Hopefully it'll just be a couple of days, and then you can get back in and make up for lost time on the new servers. Thanks for your patience.
So yeah, an exact time isn't known yet.

Of course the game goes down the day after I wrote a review of it...

I had a lot of banked turns yesterday, and I'll lose plenty to the cap. If I had known things would be down for a few days I wouldn't have gone to bed early yesterday.

I'd say a slow game with frequent 500s is better than no game at all for a few days.

I figure that Ryme isn't actually preforming any rollovers while the game is down. Maybe he'll just extend the cap and provide bonus turns to everybody to make up for the time lost.

I don't know what the cap is, but the documentation says there is one. I would assume 200 turns (or 200 * 5 minutes) like in KoL.

I think the cap is around 250 turns that are five minutes each. This means about 1250 turns total. My turns are 4.5 minutes each and I think my max is 277 turns. I am not 100% sure.

Any idea when the game'll be back up Ryme? I miss it already...

I'm not sure there is a cap. If there is, it must be well over 250. I can't remember exactly what the situation on my main was, but I do remember my bedtime being ~3:30 PM. Yes, PM.

The cap goes to and from 7:00 AM, a full 24 hours, on non Frayday days. There is no cap on Frayday for the rollover turns.

Also, consumption items do not limit at the turn cap. They limit at the consumption...limit.
