Probably shouldn't rely on JS to make a page not look badd, and PHP is moot here. Unless you want to have an account option for which version of login to use. You'd just have to log in before you log in!

In other news, I think it's possible to use a random selection of images for those bars and still scale right. If not with divs, then with GD.

It scales. That's the whole point. I can't design for 100 different screens, and the choice is either not scale at all (and thus be too big or too small) or scale and thus risk being cut off. There's nothing magical about your monitor that I should use it as a guide -- hundreds of others see hundreds of different things.

I wasn't aware it scaled. Sorry..

I dont see what the big deal is with the front page anyways...You only see it twice out of every day. When u log in, and when u log off. Does it matter so much to other people?
