to-hit and dodge on scaling foes

Talk about the game. What game? The game with the power? What power? The power of ... aw, skip it.

to-hit and dodge on scaling foes

Post by Ryme »

As of rollover the to-hit and doge calculations for scaling foes will be a bit more forgiving. Up until now, their base hit/dodge chances have been a function of your final, modified chances. In other words, they scaled with your reflex bonuses and any equipment you might have been wearing that affected hit or dodge chances. At rollover I'll be switching it so that their numbers will scale based on your *base* numbers, which is just a function of class and level.

I think the old way may have been somewhat unintuitive, particularly since equipment that modified these abilities wasn't useful, and it was certainly tougher.

Did you up their damage or something? The Delta doesn't usually dish out 1100 HP in damage for a combat. To say nothing of 1600. Also, I've heard reports of level 50's being unable to connect in the Castle.

Check that... I can't connect in the castle.

Edit: can't connect in the Cube, either.

Fixed. Small typo in the login page. I did test things, but I must have been getting a lot of critical hits to make up for all the misses.
