Every good hero needs a battlecry. What's your favorite?

I think I'd have to go with this, even though it is a bit long:
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides of the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and a finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger for those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." (From pulp fiction)

But it's a little hard to say that all right in the middle of a fight, so my second favorite is:

"My life for Aiur" (the protoss battlecry in starcraft)

Well, it's hard to go wrong with Spooooon!

Though personally I'd tend to go with something tricksy, like "Here, let me help!" or "I'll save you!" just to throw the enemies off. While they're trying to figure out whether I'm friend or foe, I'll be cleaving them in half.

Huh. That seems like a neat idea for a profile option, actually. It could get worked into combat every once in a while.

Your opponent shouts %yourbattlecry% in a high-pitched parody of your voice. "How pathetic."

I think I'm a bit confused. Is that assuming you've already shouted your battlecry, and the opponent has heard it and is trying to pretend to be on your side? Or steal it?

It could be a fun account option, just as flavor, I do agree.

"There is no inocence, only degrees of guilt."

As for actual, in battle, starcraft flavored, warcry:

"You called down the thunder... Now reap the whirlwind."

I like the classic "FOR GREAT JUSTICE!", or the MegaMan version "FIGHT, FOR EVERLASTING PEACE!!"

Near the warcries go the war taunts and there is nothing like the Scots in Braveheart moving their butts upskirt...:P (Ever noticed that one gets an arrow to his butt?)

Yeah, I was thinking of that in terms of a boss, say, who already knew about you, and was making fun of you.

"I am Sanger Zonvolt, the sword that smites evil! There is nothing my Colossal Blade cannot cut!"

Obviously my name is not Sanger Zonvolt, but his battlecry is my absolute favorite, and it doesn't sound as cool with another person's name.

Or, his clones quote, which might even be cooler.

"I am Wodan Ymir, the Sword of Magus! I shall cleave you in twain!"

<3 Super Robot Wars >_>

As a gadgeteer, I quite like "Not in the face! Not in the face!" as a battle cry. Beats even "Spoooon!" :).

Can't go wrong with Baldur's Gate warcries.

"Let's do this, quick and painful!" is my favourite, excepting of course Minsc and Boo:

"Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the eyes! Raaaargh! *squeeak!*"

How about...

"EVIL-DOER! ...please don't hurt me, it's my first day on the job and I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing and I don't really like pain all that much because one time I fell down a few stairs and knocked a tooth out and I had to go to the hospital and it hurt really bad and I had to sit there for hours to be seen and they didn't even do anything and anyway if you do hurt me try to avoid the face because I've not had much luck with the ladies lately and I figure facial disfigurements probably won't help that situation unless chicks are digging the battle scars again these days and I'm not really sure why I'm a superhero because I don't have much time out of the office and I'm hardly courageous like any of the superheroes you read about in fact I'm just wearing some old pyjamas and attacking you and you're not a real criminal you're just an elderly lady so I should probably not assault you because that would look bad on my record so I think I'll just go home and call it a night for now. Bye."

Can't ever go wrong with King Arthur's "Run away!"

...ummm, on second thought, that's not so much a battle cry...but you still can't go wrong with it.

My blood cries out for the vengeance of my people's blood, which can only be repaid with twice as much blood! Or maybe three times as much blood! Like, if you went to hell and it was full of blood, and that blood was on fire, and it was raining blood, then maybe THAT would be enough blood. But, uh... probably not.

Nah, not really. I just like the quote :D

"The bars! They bend and twist with my beserker strength! Now you will... Now... Now you... Aaah, you are a smart one! You said what you said just to get me mad! Mad enough to break free! You are as smart as Boo sometimes."

As for more Minsc battlecries...
"Jump on my sword while you can, Evil! I won't be as gentle."

Pretty much anything by Minsc is good.

But I have to say this "For PONY!"
I love Richard.
