I think most people who play TH play KoL.... anyone out there that doesn't? And found TH by some other method?

Yep. I don't play KoL. I'm pretty sure I knew of its existence shortly after it came out, might've played for a day... but found TH quite differently.

I found KoL first and found TH while searching for something like KoL. I dont play KoL anymore because I dislike how it is set up, especially the NS tower. I dislike how it is near impossible to do without a wiki available. TH i did not discover the wiki (mostly from lack of entering chat) until after I had finished all the quests. They were difficult enough that it puzzled me (say grand in particular) but simple enough that I could easily perform the tasks on my own. I also prefer the sense of humor Ryme has to that of Jick and crew's.

I only farm in kol now. For the last 3 or 4 years, really. And with Mr A prices going through the roof, I'll probably stop even doing that.

play KoL when things are quiet in TH. Otherwise I mostly farm. Just the other day I made the mistake of starting a softcore run... three days of playing 3 hours+ a day reminded me why I'm not in this business anymore.

Played TH before I found KoL.
Found both via a search for browser-based games.
Comparing KoL to TH is like comparing a child's finger-painting to the Mona Lisa.

My softcore multi hasn't really been played since Christmas, despite plenty of time and money being pumped into her.

I still play my HCO multi, but largely because that doesn't take much time.

I alternate between playing and not playing KoL. Currently, I play. But I found KoL well before TH.

I've played KoL since December 2006.

Then came one magical day when KoL Coldfront had a front-page article for TH.
I, and thousands of others, rushed to start playing, and ended up facing overloaded database errors. Ah, the good old days.
Sometimes, it seems like I'm the last player who signed up that day and still plays now.

By the way, I'm Tom808 in KoL.

I played KoL, and was slowly getting irked as to how complicated it was becoming. I quit shortly after the release of NS13. Luckily, I found out about Twilight Heroes from the Coldfront website... though I wish I'd heard about it during the alpha testing so I could have that damn badge. LOL

I ended up giving my awesome KoL account to a random n0ob in the n0ob channel. Had tons of trophies, side-kicks, etc.

That is a great idea, CS. I should give my two alts away in the newbie channel. Nothing really great on them, but tons of items and chips.

Possibly I could have your account Harry Dresden? Or you could just give it away.

I still play KoL, although I'm finding it difficult to keep up with my two characters there. Too much to do, and not enough time to do it in.

Personally I quit is because I think there are too many people.... and also because of MMG and that farming takes too much effort

Hahahhaha... For me, KoL is only fun when you have meat.... it's awfully boring if you don't.

If it matters, I will be quitting KoL very soon, so that I can concentrate on RuneScape and TH - as well as staying fit and getting rich

I found TH before KoL.. I liked TH so I gave KoL a try.. it didn't work, I didn't like it.. and I stopped playing KoL

Either it's just me, or I tend to prefer the crowd at TH more than the people in KoL - perhaps it's because we haven't faced a tsunami of people who spell "secede" as "succeed" yet

never played that game...

Two weeks ago I searched for nice, not too much time consuming super hero browser mmo and of course found TH =D Later when I entered forums, I noticed people often mentioning KoL. Finally, curiosity took over and yesterday I googled it. I went to the site, read rules and decide not to play XD TH looks way better and LOTRO gives enough fantasy experience for me =P
