Hey all. Thought I'd take a second to plug a very fun creative writing project I've been involved with in past years, and which I'm seriously considering participating in again this year.

National Novel Writing Month

The short of it is it's a personal creative writing project, mostly freeform with just a few guidelines, which runs the duration of the month of November. Tens of thousands of people do it every year and, even though the projects are individual, they can all have fun and/or commiserate together as the month goes on.

Anyone at all interested in creative writing ought to check it out:

Yeah, I've heard of this, sounds really interesting, but I wouldn't have the time...

On the other hand, why not spend the time writing 50,000 words of twilight heroes code...

:P

I found out about this a year ago and nearly signed up then, but unfortunately November is my exam month. Maybe next year, although Uni exams are probably in November too. With my luck.

I was intending on doing this, but some other projects came up, and I decided that those would make more of an impact than my NaNoWriMo thing.
