Well... I could go with what's on my iRiver...

Brawlers, Bawlers, & Bastards - Tom Waits
Systematic Chaos - Dream Theater
Grinderman - Grinderman
The Filthiest Show in Town - My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult
Live at the Earl of Old Town - Steve Goodman

Got some other stuff on there, of course, but you only wanted five :P

No Metropolis by Dream Theater? Tsk tsk tsk. :P

Also... am I the only person in the world who thinks that Radiohead is horribly overrated and really not all that good?

Heh... I can manage a grating voice (I like Tom Waits, after all), but everything I've heard from Radiohead has just left me cold. I guess it's not so much that I hate them, as I can't understand why everybody seems to think they're the best thing since... well... whatever.

Also, if we're counting albums that share a theme but don't exactly tell a linear story (or mostly linear... The Wall's weird), I think Cyberpunk by Billy Idol deserves an honorable mention. With a broader definition, it's definitely a concept album, and shockingly good. Way ahead of its time.

Led Zeppelin IV
Linkin Park- Reanimation (Yeah, sue me. It's their good stuff)
Gorillaz- Demon Days
