2) I broke 5 ribs and my arm this week. So I'm not particularly good at anything right now, such as leaving my house, let alone lifting things.

3) I'm a lazy sod who just finished exams and hence would've been doing nothing for as long as possible anyway.

Well, I've got a hat!

I thought of South Africa despite living here.

I have a Black Belt for Tae Kwon Do and do demonstrations occasionally. I did one on Monday at a school, so they set up the area. We told them there needed to be a padded area, since part of the demonstration was full-on sparring, between me and another Black Belt.
They were specifically told that the mats needed to be held together by something, as if they aren't they'll move apart as we move on them. They didn't fix them together. During the demonstration my opponent used a block-counter on me that basically involves them dropping their entire body weight onto my torso. Obviously for sparring it isn't done with full force, though it is still considerable. The mats happened to have been worked apart where we were standing, me falling into the gap pushed them apart more, so I ended up being smashed into the concrete floor.

It hurt <_<

Yeah, but my philosophy is something like "Don't be a moron/jerk"

Sure it's a pain in the ass for me, but I'm not going take it out on a school. The person responsible would probably be less affected than the kids at the school and actually placing the blame somewhere specific would be troublesome too.
Plus, like I said, not like I was planning on doing much the next few weeks anyway. It just extends my hermit like activities for a while

Yeah "some people" was fairly derogatory towards those kinds of people. I should learn some sort of karate. Maybe Muay Thai.
