I have spent two days trying to get the Gotta Move Quick adventure with the High Jump boots on. Is there a level requirement of something, or does the game just not like me

Make sure you're patrolling in the correct zone, first.
Are you using the Targe Vert or Shark Sinuses? Those are -noncombats.
Sneakiers and Stealth are +noncombats. You could probably get both by asking politely for a trade (not begging) in chat.

Just out of curiosity... What's the difference between asking politely and begging?

Would someone please give me 100k chips?

He said asking politely for a trade. But generally, I've found that these people are too nice. If you ask for a trade, they'll just give it to you, if it's reasonable >.> In alot of cases.

100k of chips is quite hefty. Buffs are slightly different, which the mods (or at least I will) will allow because KoL started up its buffing community the same way. PP is much more replenishable than chips, as well.

I've KOL enough to know begging gets you no where, but asking nicely can get you a good thing once in while. Ryme did good with this, real good. And thanks for the advice I appreciate it.

Ah... yes. Trading is quite okay, of course. Reading comprehension FTW!
