Comment on the functioning of the S.U.I.T. software...

Assuming it's a parody of SETI (which it obviously is), the program uses unused processor cycles to make calculations. If this is also the case with S.U.I.T. then running it on both machines WOULD in fact make a whole lot of sense.

You only have one IP address, so it only sends you one set of information, which is just enough for one computer?
