A horse is a horse, of course of course, but horses are also going to have to be bicycles at least for a while.

Once I can get all the horse/bicycle distinction in one place, I'll fix the heck out of that.

Cheers!

Is there a max stat cap?

I've got my base INT up to 32767.
The past couple days, I've farmed it up to ~32900.
When I log in the next day, it's back down to 32767.

It's happened two days running, so I'm wondering if there's something magical about 32767 (since it's 7FFF in hex).

Other stats, XP, chips... aren't getting rolled back, just INT.

That's the maximum value that it'll store for that field in the databse. I went ahead and raised that limit. Let me know if it still gives you any problems.

now that's a scale breaking intellect :P

anyway, regarding the new iotm:
You fix the syphon gun's sights on the shoggoth and begin drawing in a stream of black, purple, yellow, red, red, grey, and green energy. Mua ha ha ha! Errr... the heroic equivalent of that.
It was coloured blue in game though, only the text needs fixing ;)

I'd pretend it's a Liar, Liar joke... but then I'd have to admit to seeing Liar, Liar, so I fixed it instead. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick fix on something that's unlikely to effect more than a handful of people.

When I'm on the stat farming part of my cycle, I get 2 or 3 thousand at a time. Granted it's not the only thing I do, still, to get it that high has taken well over a year. It's just my small way of scaling with Sector 7.

I know there's a couple people at or around 16K in Reflexes (because I'm one of them)... but I have no idea how close the leader was to the limit. I'm 30-something in Strength, so I have even less idea there...Presumably they hadn't hit the limit, or else they would have brought this up first.

This is an old bug, but as reported on page 2 of this thread, the mask of Odysseus initiative property doesn't work on scaling foes and according to Ryme it is unintended and he hoped to fix it somewhere in the future but didn't get to it, could you give it a go? If it has to be done foe by foe I'd be happy if you could start by the Space Station bots

I have been slowly working on converting scaling foes to work more like normal foes, code-wise, so stuff like the mask would work. So this is in progress, it's just not fast progress :)

Oh, ok, didn't know it was part of the behind the scene changes :P

By the way, the chalkboard shield can't be recyclonized/digitized/goated, is there a reason for this?

Not that I'm aware of. I changed it to be edible. I'm sure somebody will yell at me if that was wrong :)

I think that's a holdover from when they were placeholders and we weren't sure what their final form would be. There was another villain item that I changed last week.

This may have been an ongoing problem, but I just noticed that my hero dash trainer isn't responding to electrical attacks. When I fought the moles:

You're so covered in mud from the Hero Dash training that the acid barely matters.

Bits of the ex-mole drop off, stinking up the place and burning into you for 33 (acid) damage.

The golden mole comes around for another pass, showering you with sparks for 56 (electric) damage.

Your trainer sprays you down with some water to help cool you off.

The red mole lobs a series of bombs at you from the sidelines, blowing you to 42 (fire) damage of smithereens.

I have no idea why. I was wearing a metal hockey mask, Trident of Nodens, letter shirt, Roderick's gloves, three-speed bicycle shorts (high gear), Roderick's boots, Aegis flux incapacitor, mysterious glowing green marble, and Fordbot logo, with an armored pegasus for transport. Here's my resistances from the character screen:
Fire resistance: 50%
Ice resistance: 50%
Electric resistance: 30%
Acid resistance: 20%
Sonic damage resistance: 15%
Psychic damage resistance: 15%

Looks like there was a problem with a few special attacks, should be good now. Thanks!

even after defeating doctor somnus and visiting the new shop, this still shows in my current quests list:

The Last Nostronomian
When you fought the Nostronomian in Shiloh Sanitarium, it dropped a scrap of paper that looked like an appointment sheet. I might be stepping over the line, but I think it might be a clue.

Also, when trying to use "SQUID disc: An alien and its human" I get this, even though I have an eye podule in my inventory:

You'd like to use the SQUID disc, but you don't have a device capable of playing it.

Also Also:

Strike of the Ion Eel

This description doesn't exist, or it hasn't been updated yet.

Combat Skill
Cost: 1 ion

All of these should be correct now.

Uh, ok, now Feathergod (#26149) in his current quests list just has B-Quests header and no quests listed under it and no completed b quest was added to the completed quests list.

Prolly needs a manual fix since it was caught in a bug?

Fixed that up.

edit:
Also, when the catalyzer finished a project while in the VR center downtown, the

line is stuck with the text that comes next, needs a line break at the end

For what it's worth, that's actually much older than the new homepage.

But it should redirect to the maintenance page now. Kitty pictures for everyone!

The Journal gets the exclamation mark whenever you level up(in the retcon levels at least) even when there's no new info, specifically when you transmog.

Ok, I just couldn't resist trying to disguise 22.86 cm Screws. I ended up fighting a haunted umbrella.

A few turns later, I tried to disguise the same enemy, but got the "already disguised foe" message:
To think that you could already top your magnus opus. No, my friend, no.

I also got the same result for trying to disguise 404 State.

Bug or feature?
EDIT: Some time after disguising a Texas Dog Party and fighting a ghostly tyrannosaur, I get the "magnum opus" message every time I try to disguise a Battle of the Bands foe.
