I may be asking for trouble, because my follow-through with last year's recipe contest was pretty bad, but I really liked the results -- lots of neat items (eventually) came out of it. So this year I'm going to do a WELDING recipe contest.

Give me some WELDING recipes!

Rules:

0) Post your recipes here in this forum. Recipes sent anywhere else are likely to be ignored, deleted, or eaten by my cats.
1) It absolutely, positively has to be a welding recipe.
2) It should consist of turning two existing items into a new item, or very possibly unwelding an existing item into two very witty different component items (*glares at Olaf*).
3) If the process needs any explanation (for example, the recipe for high jump boots is kind of vague; the recipe for the lover's locket is obvious) please include a brief line or two.
4) Provide the name and a very brief description of the resulting item (it's a weapon that does sonic damage; it's a potion that buffs strength).
5) Avoid inventing completely new types of effects -- if nothing in the game does it now, yours shouldn't be able to do it.
6) Limit 3 entries per person. Some people had more than one good suggestion last year, and I hated disqualifying their extra entries. That said, more than three per person and I'll be swamped.
7) Recipes should all be based on common items; no donation items, rares, ultrarares, or once-per-lifetime items.
8 ) New recipes for the "new" catalyze or metalmorph metals (tritanium, cryonite, polysteel, cavorite, byzantium, and illuminum) are welcome. They are NOT required, though. You can make your recipe involving any two things that you think ought to be weldable, new or old.
9) The "unimplemented" metals that I declared in the metals contest ARE fair game. Those three being pentium, paladinum, and malkamite. Whereas the six "new" metals were pretty formulaic, I'd like to branch out more with the final three, which will be "premium" metals. These three metals already have a certain theme in my mind, so recipes for those metals are much more likely to be picked if they reflect those themes:

* Pentium - Increases foe toughness. Either by making opponents angry, or by making you weaker. Key words: pent- or quint- prefixes, angry, weakening, draining, enervating.

* Paladinum: Increases strength or HP. Key words: heroic, strong, might/mighty, anything that fits a paladin.

* Malkamite: Increases XP. Implications are that the age of the item imparts wisdom. Key words: old, ancient, antique, venerable, creaky, aged, superannuated, archaic, prehistoric, bygone, forgotten, antediluvian, "of old", primordial, primeval, dateless, ancestral, from the dawn of time.

Judging:

Judging will be based on the following factors, in this order:
1) Cleverness of the recipe and the name of the resulting item
2) Using items that don't currently have recipes
3) Practicality of implementing the item
4) Humor and whim on my part

Example of a good entry (except for the fact this is a combine and not a weld):
Quote:
Night Club
Combine long arm of the law with the night cap.
Does sonic damage (because night clubs are loud)

Humor: you can't really combine the hat with the club; the premise is the mask on the night cap causes you to lose your club, and when you think you've found it again, it's actually a different club.

Winners:

Top 3 recipes (as rated by me) will be included in the game. (Runner up-recipes may also be included, or adapted, depending on how many I get and how good they are.) Anyone who suggests a recipe that gets implemented will get 50 of said item.

Top 3 recipes will receive other prizes, as follows:

First prize:
10 Scalpel sodas
1 armored pegasus
a prize box with 5 each of the premium metals (pentium, paladinum, and malkamite)

Second prize:
6 Scalpel sodas
1 pegasus
a prize box with 5 each of the premium metals (pentium, paladinum, and malkamite)

Third prize:
3 Scalpel sodas
1 pegasus
a prize box with 5 each of the premium metals (pentium, paladinum, and malkamite)

Provocative football helmet
Weld pentium with football helmet
Helmet
Inecreases foe toughness (+10-20)

You welded a sheet of pentium onto the football helmet, resulting in a star logo. For some reason, the logo resembles that of a team that many villains hate. Now they want to kill you much more.

Mysterious aged metal
Weld malkamite with cryptonase
Accessory
Increases XP after each fight (Maybe 5-10% of the enemy's XP?)

By doing something stupid like welding two dangerous metals together, you created a very big chemical reaction, causing both metals to age by billions of years. The result is a mysterious metal, which you don't actually know what it is. Somehow, when you defeat an enemy with it on you, it transfers the wisdom of the enemy to you. Sadly, most enemies don't have much wisdom.

Paladinling
Weld paladinum with kindling
Offhand item (?)
Increases Strength/HP (+10-20 each?)

This weird thing is apparently a replica an amulet wielded by a paladin named Ling. Why does a paladin have the name Ling? Who knows? More importantly, this thing can be quite strong, but you fail to see how. After Ling's death, many people created replicas of it, hoping to trick naïve people into buying them for high price. Even though they're fake, they made people feel much stronger. You simply ignore the fact that you made it, and assume that it's real, so you feel stronger too.

Personally, I'm tired of my computers, and could use an upgrade! Who else is with me?

Positronic Abacus
Positronic Computer + Malkamite
Effects: Increase in intellect and experience gain, slight addition to length of each turn

A blend of ancient and futuristic technology, worthy of the ballads of old. While you weren't entirely sure how having the fastest electronic components available in a manually operated machine, just using this mechanism makes you feel smarter, and learn more from your exploits! Unfortunately, operating this amazing abacus tends to take a bit longer than using a standard computer.

Paladin Processor
Positronic Computer + Paladinum
Effects: Increase in strength and money gain, slight addition to length of each turn
A device as stubborn as a templar, but just as frugal. Working with this contraption takes muscle, but with such a workout, you'll feel stronger for it. This computer is kind enough to take a moment of your time to point you in the direction of the criminals with deeper pockets, too! Such charity!

Quintessential Workstation
Positronic Computer + Pentium
Effects: Increase in reflexes and foe toughness

This computer is actually a set of five components; a mainframe stays in your hideout, while a quartet of drones follow you around. These drones illuminate opponents, boosting your natural reflexes. Unfortunately, having a set of lights following you tends to attract the worst criminals just looking to release their pent up rage.

i) Royal Crown + Monarch Butterfly pin =

Imperial Diadem
While Emperors get the most expensive gifts, they have to deal with any unwanted revolutions too. This headpiece reflects that.

Helmet
+8% Chips
+6 Foe toughness

ii) Paladinium + Larchwood Staff =

Staff of the Crusader
This is the staff liberated by the crusader Sir Robert from the great Satan during the wars for Jerusalem. Little is known of its origins, but it is said to burst into flame if not wielded by a true hero.

Melee Weapon
+10% to all Stats (Str, Int, Ref)
+4 HP per turn
{+12 fire damage}
{Take 2 fire damage per round of combat}

{Curly brackets mean 'Villains Only', can be ignored if implementation too difficult}

iii) Pentium + Unbranded Jalopy =

Devil's Mustang

It seems that welding Pentium to this car's body has summoned a demon which happens to be stuck in the speakers. Both fast and stylish, the many people who will try to take this car from you don't realise that it tries to kill its owner.

Transportation
+5% Initiative
+13 foe toughness
Take <1x range value of location> sonic damage per round of combat

<range value means the range required to adventure in a particular location. flying=3, underwater=2, cthulhu=5>

Please remember that all values are approximates, and may be altered if deemed too powerful/weak/silly.

effect:aside from writing comical phrases on enemies backs when they aren't looking it doesn't have a practical use. (+%item drop)

Dented hubcap+ Pentium= Pentameter (ranged weapon; does large amount of sonic damage, but also makes foes tougher, cus well its poetry) This pentameter is the Five Finger Death Punch of Poems. When you read it out loud, all enemies in the area cringe away in pain. Those that dont pass out attack you even more fiercely.

Titanium+ beanbag cannon= ball bearing cannon (ranged weapon; does extra ranged damage)

Shattered pro statue+test sign= shattered protest sign (this is a deweld)

Shattered pro statue (read Heisman)accessory; increases strength or xp gain possibly even make it so you can combine multiple to make a pro statue that increases both

Test sign: accessory; increases the duration of all buff/aura skills by x% (x <10, or even graded with level like the sidekicks are) I know this is really strong, so you could also just make the skills cost one less

Outside of rules because its an IoTM derivative but this is the first one that I thought up
deweld (or deassemble) mismatched earring into the missed match and the ear ring
Missed match (accessory adds fire damage)
Ear ring ( accessory a ring of ears. Increases strength)

The Ancyent Maryner's Trydent

ranged weapon

Quixote's Spear + Malkamite

There ys... er, is no reason that anyone has worked out to explain the properties of this strange weapon. Rumor has it it actually belonged to some elder god from before the dawn of time, or something like that. It certainly works nicely, wherever it came from.

+X% xp
-5 sec/turn

Plaque Buster

Cavorite + Astral Spline
Cavorite + Quill Blade
(Yes, they both make the same item)

"Help keep the streets clean and its mouth even fresher with this crime-busting, toothbrush! Evil-doers beware! Your yellow-teeth days are numbered!"

Pentium + Nanoprocessor
Quintium 5 processor

This is the latest, fastest and strongest processor up to date. Unfortunately, it's not out in retail stores yet, and even when it does come out, it'll be far expensive for you to afford. But why should you care when you can make it at home! Just slap a mysterious metal onto a device you barely understand, and voila! You are now a computer expert! You could make millions off selling this! And get sued for millions more! Why, just walking around with this will make petty thieves think you're rich!

Accessory/Off Hand
+2? foe toughness
(Can replace the nanoprocessor of an electronic computer to make it slightly faster, if that's possible)

Paladinium + Pathway imager
Paladin Graphics card
This is the latest, strongest and just plain best graphics card up to date. Unfortunately, it's not available anywhere in the world except with Invideo, the company that's about to release it. But you've just made it all by yourself! Now ask yourself, why do you need this? Besides computer games, it's not good for much else. But you don't care! You've just made something awesome! Just walking around with it boosts your ego, making you believe you can accomplish even more!
(Can replace pathway imager of the positronic computer to allow playing virtual reality games at the hideout, and/or be installed into electronic computer for the same reason, if possible)
Accessory/Off Hand
+10?HP
+20?PP

Malkamite + Data plate/memory tube
Forgotten drive
Dated back to 5000 BC, this device has stumped archaeologists and scientists. It records anything and everything that was and is in a 5 mile radius. It has more storage than any currently existing device. But why would people from 7000 years ago need it? And the bigger question, how could they have conceived it when we, in all our technological advancement, haven't? Apparently, it was made by somehow combining random metals into making something strange. Isn't that how we do it? But the biggest question of all, what would you do with it? Well, you could record and analyze data during patrolling. That is quite useful.

Or, y'know, just sell it to archaeologists and scientists.

Accessory/Off Hand
+ 10?XP gained each turn

Pentium + Repeating rifle = Quint-barreled repeating rifle
-same basic stats layout as repeating rifle, upgraded
Description: An improved version of the repeating rifle, it has 5 barrels to shoot from for extra speed.

It's a minigun!

Paladinum + Threeinforced cap = Defender of the Crown
-extra hp
Description: This heavily reinforced helmet is so thick it feels like you're wearing a castle. Thugs will be hard-pressed to break through without a catapult or two.

using 'crown' to mean head, it's also the name of an old computer game

Flashlight + digital saber = lightsaber (maybe weld two sabers to get the double-ended sith lightsaber?)) - maybe weld something a bit more impressive than the flashlight, like the laser macrodiode?

Upgraded, more powerful digital saber, maybe with more defence/dodge to reflect the ability to block energy bolts.

Smoldering Jumpsuit
Infernium slab + Black Jumpsuit
Full-body suit, Power ~100, +20 HP, +20 PP, +10% fire resistance
Description: This jumpsuit is full of holes but still holds water... Wait that's a sponge...
Maybe this should have some really cool bonuses because it requires you to PvP to get a component

Gravity Orb
Isinglass Orb + Cavorite,
Offhand, -5 seconds to a turn, +5 or 10 reflexes
Description: Believe it or not you're walking on air! It's not Ralph's jumpsuit, but at least you don't have to fight crime.
Add more 'Greatest American Hero' references.

Heart of Ice
Lover's locket + Cryonite
Accessory, +10% fire resistance, +10 ice damage, +5 PP a turn
Description: You were hot blooded, but now you're as cold as ice. This isn't the first time you've dealt with these head games...Starrider...
Add as many Foreigner references as possible.

Also, I demand an item description for cavorite. You have 24 hours or however long you'd prefer. Either is fine with me.

Triluminum Tray
(Tritanium + Iluminum)
Offhand item

A serving tray with three fluorescent bulbs in it. Not sure of how it's supposed to keep you from tripping over your own feet when the lights are in your face, but it also makes a tasty grilled cheese sandwich.

QUESTION

Before I start posting my ideas... I want to know something,
Do I have to post at least one recipe including the new metals? Or am I able to skip those new items and attach myself to the old ones without a recipe?

Whatever you want, as long as it includes solder. I only meant to let people know the new metals are fair game, but you can weld anything you want, though it probably ought to include some metal somewhere. Welding denim to denim just doesn't work very well.

Cloning Kit
Weld Malkamite to Robotics Kit. Result is an item that causes the following buff effect:

Alterior Auxilaration
An ulterior auxiliary of alts awaits you! It's quite exhilarating to know that your army of robo-clones lurk behind every bush and tree in secret, waiting to jump out in front of you during battle. Whoever said there's no 'I' in team never had his own robot army.

(+damage reduction according to number of confirmed Malk alts)

-=-=-

Music Box
Verse of the Dodo + Box (disassemble Schrodinger's Box to create Schrodinger and Box*) ==> Silence Box
Gears (or clockwork core?) + Silence Box ==> Music Box

Schrodinger - And here you expected to find a cat! But instead it's just a theoretical physicist. (Perhaps gives a buff, or becomes a temp sidekick?)

Box - People are always saying, "Think outside the box." Why do you even own a box? (useless item?)

Silence Box - Accessory, Power 0
Sounds around you are oddly muffled when you carry this box, but you seem strangely more perceptive. Just looking at it makes you feel tense. (Allows the reading of prophetic/riddle graffiti in subterranean and residential areas.)

+20% reflexes

Special: When resting, the player dreams of walking alone down the cobblestone streets of old Somerset. Resting recovers half of normal values.

Music Box - Accessory, Power 0
This music box plays an tune you can't quite remember from your childhood. Just hearing it makes you feel comfy-cozy.

+2 HP/turn
+2 PP/turn

Resting: Recover an extra 20 HP/PP.

-=-=-

Empire's Glasses
Weld Umpire's Glasses and Crested Helm (or Zion Helm?)

Helmet, Power 50

This helmet lets you be Roman if you want to, all around the world! Wearing this goggled headgear makes you feel shameless and unbeatable all at once. Maybe it's the sparkling clarity the glasses give you, but you can practically feel yourself tackling those Persians-- I mean criminal scumbags-- already! You're a little distracted, but that's okay-- the world is your cloister. All toads look like chrome! You could take off anything!

+10% Strength
+5% Reflexes
-5% Intellect

Special: Causes ridiculous Latin phrases to be yelled in battle. (You can always omit this part, but the idea's there. ;) )

-=-=-

*I figure the alternate S. Boxen disassembly is possible, given the Golden Ticket's own rules.

Okay... Here's my first idea: Mysterious Machine
Weld old-style ambulance + green residue
The van needed more color, so you smeared this mysterious green stuff all over it and used your welding kit to make sure it didn't wash off.

Makes a transport with a use-able effect that grants you a sidekick: meddling kids

OF course I've agonized over which items to use. unbranded jalopy can be substituted for the ambulance. as for the green residue, I really wanted to use either a crimebusters IOU or one of the Halloween costume items, bed-sheet with holes or plastic fangs, but I was unsure if either of those would qualify. I also considered the fuel tank as the mystery machine always seemed to be running out of gas. Palooka Joe gum was also considered for it's "detective" theme, though it really wasn't as good as the others. I ended up choosing the green residue since it matched their van and reminded me of the glowing green substance they usually find as a clue.

more ideas to follow when I think of them. ^_^

4 Plasteel Pipes merged together would make "E-Bay Statue"
"Having it around makes you feel wealthier and smarter"
Just HAVING it in your Inventory provides +1% Chips, +1% Int, and +1% EXP per adventure!

Tok'l Ore+Unleaded Pipe makes "Toking Pipe"
"Everything's so...SIGNIFICANT...But you feel kind of stupid. Maybe you shouldn't have inhaled?"
Having it as an accessory boosts EXP by 10%, but lowers INT by 20%

Furry Pill+Furry Pill
"A nice, furry pillow, reminds you of the 70s"
It is consumed on your next Rest, doubling the HP gains, AND giving you +1 MAXHP

More to come, if I think of them...

Epic Flail
Paladinum + Morning Star

Large increase to strength and HP, but also deals some damage to the user. The idea is that it is an awesome but impractical weapon; epic flail referring to both the weapon, and the Star Wars kid style flailing you have to go through to use it.

Crystal skull
Pentium + cosmic crystals

Helmet that gives "ruined forever" effect -- increased for toughness, increased combat chance, and decreased XP. The idea is that foes look into the crystal skull and are overcome with an overwhelming urge to destroy you (only somewhat different from the movie). The decreased XP is because, in theory, enemies aren't getting fancy with their attacks. They're just coming straight at you.

Righteous Hook

Big Left Hook + Paladinum

Melee Weapon (Piercing)

If you happen to be fishing for heavy, silver fish, this heavy, silver hook is just the thing for you! If not, well, I guess you can just smite your enemies with it. Whatever floats your heavy, silver fishing boat.

+ Str (from it being so heavy)
+ Dmg Vs. Fish (optional)

---------------------------------
Pent-A-Gram

Verse Of The Dodo + Pentium

Accessory or Item

Even more evil than the dreaded Candy-Gram, sending this song to your foe's door is guaranteed to work them into a furious rage. Think Tiny Tim meets Mayhem. Yeah, THAT kind of evil.

+ Foe Toughness

----------------------------------
Cranky Old Bastard Sword
Telekinetic Katana + Malkamite

Melee Weapon (Slashing, Large)

Your grandfather's spirit was trapped in this sword during it's creation, and now he spends his time alternating between telling rambling stories of Twilight's golden age and screaming at villains to get off his dadburn lawn.

+ XP (from Grandpa's stories)
+ Sonic Damage (from Grandpa's screaming)

-----------------------------------

Just some ideas. Looking forward to the new metals!

* Pentium - Increases foe toughness. Either by making opponents angry, or by making you weaker. Key words: pent- or quint- prefixes, angry, weakening, draining, enervating.

My three focus on the same idea, mostly 'cause i can't think of much else!

Electro Toad
TaserMax + Gilligan's golf club

Melee weapon (club)

The electric current makes the club spin round and round, round and round, round and round... woah, all hail the Hypno Toad.

Chance to stun opponent
Occasionaly forces opponent to hit itself

Cold Branding Iron

Weld Pentium + ('Electro Toad' = TaserMax + Gilligan's golf club)

Melee weapon (spear)

You feel the overwhelming urge to prod things. But in a subtle kind of way.

6% of damage returned as PP
+5 XP per battle

Red Hot Poker

Cold Branding Iron + Enerbun Globule

Melee weapon (spear)

When you were young and innocent, you were outraged by ranchers branding their cattle. But when you realized poking villains with a red hot poker made them angry, you couldn't resist giving it a go yourself. Mind you, if someone poked you, wouldn't you be angry?

Sends foe into 'Burning Rage' (Increase foe toughness)
Reputation based*

*Only equippable by Vigilante, Pragmatic or Watchdogs.

Using a Red Hot Poker with a sky water in the inventory removes the heat.

This... this is awesome.

Since I assume you don't want us using limited or unique items...

Righteous Shades(TM) (smokey goggles + paladinum)

Not only are these glasses awesome, but they're literally righteous, designed to make you even more heroic and buff than anyone ever though possible. Of course, the bad guys always have their eye out for heroic types, especially when they advertise.

Accessory
+combat chance
+5 Strength

cloak of desanguination (hooded cloak + Pentium)

Unfortunately, this isn't some creepy fanged cloak that drinks the blood of your opponents (because, seriously, what kind of hero would use something like that). No, this is a creepy fanged cloak that drinks your blood. It's hard to say why you'd actually wear such a thing. It's creepy, it's unnerving and it freaks out everyone around you. Oh yeah. That's why.

Shirt
Power: 30
+non-combat chance
-5 HP/turn

Entry number 2, this one is a two parter.

Song of the Siren
weld: Aquasson Logo + Verse of the Dodo
This handy little tune is really catchy and seems to draw a lot of attention.

+ combat chance

Ryme of the Ancient Mariner
weld: Song of the Siren + malkamite
Reading this long poem gives you something to do between fights while patrolling. It also makes you feel smarter for being able to read it without falling asleep.

+ xp

1)
Xentrium Axe + Cryonite = Cold-Blooded Axe
This is not a regular axe... Well maybe it is, but it's cold,
so cold that all you can say when you get hit by it is:
"I feel... cold."
Melee weapon (Slashing, large)
Power: 180
Level Required: 16
+20 ice damage
+10% resist ice damage
+50% damage to cursed pirates
(Refers to Captain Barbossa in Pirates of the Caribbean)

2)
Astral Spline + Paladinum = Jousting Spear
Beware of the one who wields this weapon for you will surely have a great fall. And neither the king's horses nor the king's men, will put you together again.
Melee Weapon (Piercing, large)
Power: 190
Level Required: 18
+20 Strength
+5% of weapon damage returned as HP
Provides +10% max HP if worn in conjunction with an armored horse (Armored Pegasus).
(Refers, of course, to Humpty Dumpty)
xD

Okay, here goes nothing:

Extension cord + Cryonite = Frostbite whip (whip/flexible weapon)
Description: This is one cool whip. You can easily cream opponents with this.
Power: 110-120?
Special: + ice damage

Frostbite whip + Cryonite = Numbchuck (? weapon)
Description: This is no ordinary nunchuck. This is a numbchuck, almost guarenteed to knock your opponent out cold.
Power: 150?
Special: + ice damage
Pile of bricks + PDA/Broken PDA = Brickboy (noncombat item)
Description: The Bricktendo Brickboy is bricktastic! In that it is as big and technologically advanced as one. Still, the games you can play on it are relatively fun, until the whole system is bricked.
Effects: Will randomly raise one of the user's stats:

Strength-up Description: You play...some...game. The gameplay and graphics are so horrible, you just want to break the Brickboy.Which you procede to do. At least you got some exercise.

Intellect-up Description: You play 'Generic Puzzle Game II'. You seem to be doing very well. So well that you nearly complete a level, before the batteries die. Man, the Brickboy sucks...energy.

Reflexes-up Descripion: You play 'Italian Plumber Land'. This level sure is difficult. You need all of your timing and button-pressing speed here. In fact, you mash the buttons so rapidly, the Brickboy burns out. Shoot. You almost beat the giant turtle-dog, too.

And my last entry:

Mis-guidance system
Malkamite + guidance system

The idea is that it's an accessory that gives you outdated advice. So while wearing it, you get a better insight into things (learning from the mistakes of the past by... er... repeating them) resulting in increased XP gains. But this also takes more time, so it would add a few seconds to each turn.

A Battle-Bot (sidekick/companion(bonus Slashing Large); Weld a Saw Glove with a Robotics Kit decription This looks like one mean Robot.

When activated; You feel scared to flick the on switch but after a while you realize it wouldn't hurt the creator right???!!!!

when used with a current companion; You think about using this but your afraid your (insert companions name here) would accidentally cut themselves.

When Battle-Bot is your current companion; You repair Battle-Bot using the new one. You figure it should give it some more operating time.

Sword of Truce [yes, I mentioned this one earlier, but I use it in a later recipe.]

Peacekeeping baton + Warmaking baton

Torque of Antiquity

Ali C bling + malkamite

descrip: The ancient rulers really did originate 'bling'. (ect.)

no real properties, maybe high autosell.

Ol' Dirty Bastard Sword

Toque of Antiquity + Sword of Truce

melee weapon - descrip:This grimy antique might not be the most impressive, but it'll still do a number on enemies - especially since simply wielding it, you feel the experience of all the previous wielders flooding through you. Although that does prove somewhat distracting.
+n XP/turn (maybe level/5?)
+to-hit
-init

Metaphoric Shoes

Tortured soles + malkamite

boots - descrip: Y'know that saying about walking a mile in the other guy's shoes? Well, after wearing these, you're certain of two things. First, these are the shoes the first person to say that was referring to. Secondly, the reason the 'other guy' was such an ass was probably because he was in pain. These shoes hurt. They are, however, inexplicably shiny. And you are learning something by wearing them. (Like you really need to treat your feet better.)

-1(HP/PP)/turn
+n XP/turn (1-5, maybe)
+init (they distract the opponent. because, well, they're shiny.

Melee Weapon (Slashing, Large)

Your grandfather's spirit was trapped in this sword during it's creation, and now he spends his time alternating between telling rambling stories of Twilight's golden age and screaming at villains to get off his dadburn lawn.

+ XP (from Grandpa's stories)
+ Sonic Damage (from Grandpa's screaming)

This one. I gotta see this one implemented. XD <3

malkamite + jetpack = decrepit flying machine

Transportation
Range: 2
+15 seconds to turn length
Occasional Strength bonus point after turn

Back in the old days, heroes in Twilight used to walk up the hill, both ways, wearing this on their back (who knows why).

They said it couldn't be done. They said I was mad. Well, I'll show them.. I'll show them all! Mua ha Ha ha Ha. You learn a new technique: Chemical Mixture.

Infernium Slab + Magic Truck Vechicle [or unbranded Jalopy, since it's not a once in a lifetime item, but still works]

Vehicle of Mount Vernon
Transportation
Effects: +fire damage and +% PP, but only 3 range

A beat up old car that you wouldn't dare drive far, for fear of it breaking down on you. Makes you burn passionately with rage.

Pentium + Horrid tentacle

Quintessential Kraken [Although, since someone beat me to the punch with quintessential, maybe "Pentup tentacle"
Shirt [or Suit?]
Effects: Strong +foe toughness, very slight +item drops

Still slightly moving, this tentacle suit is pretty creepy. Occasionally grabs a loose item on the ground, but also makes your foes much more aggressive. Strangely enough, they seem to aim for the eye more often too.

Ok, just for shiggles, let's see what happens:

titanium plating + gears (x2) = titanium gears
titanium plating + stabilized gyros(x2) = stabilized titanium gyros
titanium gears + stabilized titanium gyros(x2) = mechanical stabilized titanium gyros
mechanical stabilized titanium gyros + mechanical stabilized titanium gyros = super-stable mechanical stabilized titanium gyros
super-stable mechanical stabilized titanium gyros + bike = super-stable gyro-cycle

"This isn't your normal bike. No way. In fact any normal bike that sees this cycle instantly wishes it were a unicycle so as to draw attention away from yours."

Range: 4
+5 dodging ability
+5% to initiative
Grants super jumps

8)

Sidekick Focus: Bard

Weld: Barding Instructions + Band Aid

Create: Bard Instructions

Description: By covering up certain portions of the barding instructions with a band-aid, your sidekick has learned to play a lute.

Effect: Sidekick will help the hero flee battles. Once per day, the Sidekick may be used in battle (in a manner similar to the limited mortality), causing the hero to eat the Sidekick - with much rejoicing. The Sidekick will then not be available for the rest of the day.

Humor: Bravely bold %charactername% rode forth from Twilight Town. (S)he was not afraid to die, oh brave %charactername%. She was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways, brave brave brave %charactername%.

Magic Bus

Weld: Magic Truck Vehicle + Positronic Computer

Creates: Magic Bus

Description: Attaching the Magic Truck Vehicle to the I/O bus on your Positronic Computer leeds to the Magic Bus. The Guinness Book of World Records records it as the loudest bus in existence, but you know its a bus age wonder that goes like thunder.

Effect: Range 5. Will occasionally give the hero 100 English Pounds, err, Twilight Chips (no, too much!). Will occasionally cause deafness in opponents.

Effect text: Your enemy has been so deafened by the noise of your Magic Bus that he just sits and smiles and misses a turn.

Humor: Based off of The Who's song Magic Bus.
