February's Bounty - find that recipe!

Building on last month's bounty, which was solved in a disturbingly short time, I've got a new bounty for February. Many months ago I added a recipe to the game which generates candy. Thus far, nobody has discovered that recipe.

I know recipes can be tough. As the number of items in the game increases, the number of possible combinations skyrockets. Still, this one shouldn't require brute-force methods, and I'll give you a big hint. This recipe should make sense to just about everyone once you hear it.

20 stroopwafel to the first person who can tell me, here in this forum, the name of the candies that you can get from the recipe.

Please, do not spoil the recipe itself! Just tell me the name of the resulting candies!

Offer stands until the end of February. If nobody finds it, too bad.

Footnote: mods and similarly privileged players not eligible.

Because you're always bugging me with questions. Policy this. Ban that. Implement the other. It's ridiculous. No prize for you!

But but...I don't have a salary. :/

Your salary is the satisfaction of knowing you make the game a better place (not that you do).

'Tis a shame I suck at spading.

Woofers & Tweeters?

Ding! Looks like we have a winner.

But I'll tell ya what. There's a second candy that can come from the same recipe. Next person to list that one can also win.

Leopard: please keep the recipe to yourself in the meantime.

In addition to Ryme's piddling prize, I'll add in another 30 for each recipe. Yes, that means you'll get them, The Leopard. :)

Both prizes will be handed out when both are found.

Way to show me up, Magi.

Guess it's time for another hint. I know it's kind of a rephrasing of the previous hint, but: this recipe is a valid, real-life way to get candy, assuming a little cooperation from an adult.

Rykar's account is currently inactive, so here it is!

Gingerette Hard Candy

Congrats to Rykar and The Leopard.

Well done ... uh, Rykar. What does "account is currently inactive" mean? If he's waiting on activation, he needs to send me a request, because I don't have any pending ones.

Well, since this has been figured out (and put on the Wiki), I guess we don't need it stuck any more.

In my personal opinion this was taking the Assemble feature too far. It should have been done with a use link, leaving assemble to things you actually try to, well, assemble.

It's not without president: hammer + data plate

Of course, I suppose that the pinata already checks to see if you have a baseball bat for its assembly...

And it does that because the effect is different if you have one or you don't have one.

And if this has gone too far, Muhandes, then the night club recipe from the contest in October did that already, plus I think there are a couple of others that work on the same principle.

Yes, night club is much worse. Then again, I didn't know it was in game until this moment...

As for the data plate, I can see myself sitting in my hideout at the Workbench, trying to figure the data plate with a hammer. But why would I take the items for the candies to the workbench? and where did all the kids come from, have they discovered my hideout? And where did the candies come from, I made it from paper? A bit too far out IMHO. And yes, the night club is worse.

I like to think the game has room for a little creative whimsy at times--those examples being some of those times. *shrugs*

this could all be fixed if you changed the word assemble to "use together" or something
