Shouldn't the edibles and sidekicks now be taken off the main list?

I don't see the need for that, unless there's an overwhelming disagreement with keeping them in.

It would be less laggy if they were only on their own section

I just don't see the point why it would have it's own catagory, but still be on the main thing. (Unless everything had it's own catagory, and everything was on one main thing).

Because when I first looked at the new catagories, first thought "wow, there's not that many sidekicks...". Look at the main thing, and I see clockwork (animal) and I was confused why it was in the main and not in the side catagory, but then I realized it was the same thing...

I can't imagine that the server cares if it's showing a list of 15 items or a list of 10 items.


Personally, I like having them still show in the Misc. list. It's more convenient when I'm just browsing.

What we have here is a proper semantics showdown. I would agree with you if we were talking a full category, but I'm treating edibles and sidekicks as merely subcategories. As such, they're still part of the full category. It's just a filter to pull out a specific part--something that's been asked for a number of times by players.

Also, there's zero issue with lag based on the size of the result set, at least for the moment.

The only problem I've having with this is that the 'go back' link within a listing for a sidekick or edible goes to Miscellaneous listings, forcing me to scroll down to get back into Edible or Sidekick listings.
