I've just bid 1M+ instead of 100k for a silver star due to bad typing. Please ease my pain, anyone done anything as dumb?

I think LordLagger did the same thing, one of the reasons Ryme put in large chips was to help people with mistakes like that. lol You made a star seller very happy..

Sorry, CTID. If it makes you feel any better, just a couple of weeks ago I sold 3 Mr Accessories over in KoL for minimum price each. Apparently putting a 3 in the price field instead of the quantity field is a bad thing. It's always a bummer when it happens, but there isn't a fair way to fix these things.

something you could do to prevent it, is to put an option in the account settings that would allow a user to set a number and if the user bids above that number it would show a confirmation message with the amount they bid with commas. but that is just a thought.

This is exactly why I believe there should be a confirmation screen before the item, or bid, is placed.

Bah. Seeing the number is confirmation. Having a second screen makes everyone click twice to do a thing once, and if they don't get the number right they'll just click continue out of habit anyway. If it's important, you simply have to do it right the first time. There's only so much I can do to protect you from yourself, and most of that protection would be more annoying than helpful.

Also, if you need to, use commas. The game should be able to handle them, and it may help a little. though I know plenty of cases where people still miscount, even with commas.

i think i can connect to ctid. like a couple days ago i almost missed my bus and then i went to another bus route's stop.
