Does anyone have a clear explanation on what "power" does when not used for a weapon? I'm asking this because I'm wondering how important it is, and if I should use Plasteel, or say, lower level items with more effects.

Plasteel stuff would only be good when your high enought lvl so any low lvl items that would give you plus to str etc etc wont matter cos u would have high enough stats anywoo and Plasteel have the highest power so far....

Anyway to anwser your question, what power means on helemts and armors, (I think) it means the defence it will provide. The more power an armor or helmet has, the more defence it has.
