Re: May Item of the Month - highly implausible script
How about "epic" or "legendary"? Or is that a bit too samey with other games?

Re: "Ascension" Strategy
Here's a radical idea which probably doesn't belong in this thread, but it would make the TH ascension mechanic differ wildly from KoL. Difference is good! My idea is that completing an ascension in a given class simply unlocks the talisman, making it equipable permanently. So, after ascension, you ...

Re: "Ascension" Strategy
It's like a slice of heaven taken away each run. I enjoyed that, it's the most poetic thing I've ever heard about a potential future disadvantage in a game. I was surprised no one mentioned MD, although I'll admit I've never played anything but Gadgeteer and know little of the other classes and the...

Same here, great idea BongBob. BongBob's own avatar is a good example of TH-style art working really well at depicting a person in avatar size. I'm loving the new sidekicks, it's a brilliant addition to the game and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Yeah TH PvP doesn't have the bitchy aggressive feeling that PvP has in many games. It's more like a hug administered with a bag of marbles.

Re: Gift for PvPers: a naked Hannahmaus
So are you going to return to the field eventually? After exams? So that you keep climbing and stuff. Hmm I don't know, I'll definitely be back when it gets the eventual overhaul that's somewhere on Ryme's list, other than that, not unless I get a sudden mad urge. I do get quite a few of those, how...

Re: Gift for PvPers: a naked Hannahmaus
Not exactly tired of it, but the long climb to the top of the board, then the long lead (over 1000 points clear at one time) were a lot more fun than the gradual fall from grace since. It was the most time-consuming part of TH for me, and I have exams coming up, so it seemed like a good time to stop...

Gift for PvPers: a naked Hannahmaus
I've decided to take a break from PvP, after many months of diligent PvPing, including a 2-month stint at the top of the leaderboard. As a parting gift to fellow PvPers and the PvP-curious, I've taken off all my gear. For the next week, anyone will be able to beat me, and for the low-ranked that wil...

"Ain't" is also used all over Britain and was in use for a long time before anyone decided it was bad. That was Victorian uptightness. My browser spellchecker also thinks "uptightness" is bad. Must be Mozilla uptightness. Spring is my favourite season because everything is bursti...

Re: Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.
Well that was half Cristiona's point, a very small percentage stat boost is nothing to someone early in the game, a flat increase sounds better. Anyway, details like stat boosts are for Ryme to figure out, the main thing here is the concepts, which are really good.

People who hold games can have their own channel, people who roleplay have their own channel and traders have their own channel. Why not one for those curious about mechanics? Why is this such a trouble? It's much less about the spoiler rule as it is about building the diamond/spade community. Here...

It looks right except the TAG POS=2 at the start. My iMacros casts the 2 gadgeteer self-casts and MD, and has TAG POS=1 on each line, even though the MD control appears to be the 2nd element in the frame. Maybe change the 2 to a 1 and see what it does. I guess you'll have tried re-recording the macr...

I believe what SL means is having a leaderboard listing who has voted the most times. I thought of that too, but then thought it's a bit of unexciting leaderboard, as it could end up with a bunch of players with the same score, relying on the others' internet connections to go down for a day in orde...

Seriously though, if you really want to pimp it, you should be able to include a link that will take players directly to the captcha for TH. This is the important bit about this idea.
