Re: Minor bugs
I thought it was random the first time, then he/she keeps the random name over retcons.

Re: Getting the TH look with GIMP
I think I've found a suitable Script-fu plugin:
"Photo effects" from Iccii. It includes Angled Stroke and InkPen

examples of all effects: http://users.telenet.be/ev1/gimpphotoeffects_en.html

Re: Getting the TH look with GIMP
I was thinking more for user generated sig-lines and other art. I wouldn't want to bother you with all that .

Getting the TH look with GIMP
Ryme has a guide on how to get the TH look with Photoshop (http://th.blandsauce.com/wiki/Avatars_% ... %28dict%29), but could someone translate that into Gimp Script-fu?

Favorite Quest/Mechanic
Among the different quests of TH I have one that is my favorite for a few reasons. It's the Casino quest and here's why: 1) it has a unique mechanic -- decrypting data cards that's well set in the near-future timeperiod of the game. 2) Decoding cards works both for those people who enjoy a verbose n...

Competitive Leaderboard Structure?
I didn't want to derail the Time/Day discussion. But now that we're a month into Retcon activity, I thought we might discuss competition brackets. This could either be implemented by Ryme via leaderboards, or via something like KoLDB. I think it's pretty clear that not all mettle is created equally....

Re: Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.
Allows you to "Friend" villains giving you an higher chance of encountering them. Or better, "Friend" Bosses, so that if you lose to the Troutmaster you have fewer combats before you see him again.Book of Faces

Re: sugar vs caffeine
What might be interesting is sugar with +PP and +MaxPP at the same time for 5 min or something. Kinda sugar rush effect where your mind races -- but only for a second. Imagine being lvl 3 and having a max PP of 20 and eating a +50PP sugar item that puts you at 70PP for 1 turn. Might have interesting...

I so wish I had a machine that could play this. A 10yo thinkpad running Debian Linux just doesn't cut it, unfortunately. I've been relegated to watching Husky's webcasts.

Re: Minor bugs
A bit of a nit, but when you turn in the air-ship coupon and are dropped into the base there's a dividing line and then you read the default message of going the the air-ship place -- which indicates that you're standing on the top of the building again. Narratively it's jarring.

Re: Minor interface tweak requests
For whatever reason, I always assumed the NCI Live office map was a top-down representation. I didn't occur to me that I was looking at a cross-section of a standing building. The wiki enlightened me. This is very easy to take care of by a small visual cue. If you add a small tree outside on the gro...

Re: TH Greasemonkey thread 2.0
I wrote a script so you can re-up your buffs from the nav pane (sorta like in Mafia). You need to visit the skills page before it will activate (to figure out which skills you have). TekRunner's mentioned this would be nice. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/87404 This is my first GM script, so se...

Re: Poll: what's next for Twilight Heroes? YOU DECIDE
I guess I'm going to vote for Mall, but what I'd really like is a crafting interface where found recipes are saved. You know . . . something like that other game. Wouldn't have to be as fancy, of course.
