Re: anyone going to Comic-con? reward for wearing TH shirts

It's been supremely difficult, rest assured. I've tried for a 4 day pass every time and it's just been a massive fail. But I did manage to nail a Thursday-only day pass.

Is this bounty still up? BECAUSE I TOTALLY WOULD.

Re: anyone going to Comic-con? reward for wearing TH shirts

Hello.

Yes, it has been forever.

I'm thinking of going next year. I know this is old news (referring to previous Comic-Con), but I'm totally down to promote TH then. I'd be down to arrange a huge meetup too, though I'd need assistance.

Cheers!

And thus the console PC divide is spotted. The issues on PC are 100% on consoles, it's just that no console user seems to want to fight against commercialization. Sad. $40 is still too much for me, personally. I don't own a console thus PC is my only (lol, only) main game system. It's without a doub...

Sigh. Do even a LITTLE research before writing crap? They raised the price to MATCH the console price. There hasn't been enough sales for me to justify buying it ($40? No. Maybe at $20 or $25). Greasemonkey scripts do this for you already. It'd probably be a bad idea for Ryme to actually implement this in game.

Ryme likes to hear suggestions that are more specific. So going more in depth with your idea is a good idea. More than likely, he's already noticed the general idea. Re: Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.

To say that the attraction of KoL is any one element is wrong and horribly incorrect. It changes from person to person AND it changes even just for one person (hello, living proof here).

That's something KoL is okay at.

Graphics, AI and sound, etc., are not.

Just because a multi-million dollar game did it, doesn't mean that it's out of reach for TH. Indies do it.

It's alot of work, yeah, but I think it's worth it if it gives that much more connection to the player. And it doesn't necessarily have to be skills (seems like your first idea was for items?).

Er. I think you're misunderstanding me. It's MUCH LESS work if you moved the choice adventure things into the choice adventure script. Literally code for the 4th choice and you're done. Why use 2? So that you don't fuck up the giant one? Seriously, as a coder, I wouldn't put everything in one file. I'd separate it in a way that's logical. Not saying that sticking it together is BAD, but I think it'd be much easier and better managing two separate but modular scripts. Also, IIRC, th...

You know, you should probably update the Choice Selection Saver script instead of combining both. It'd be easier to manage, not to mention you don't have to keep adding on choices. Just add code to look for the 4th choice and you're done.

Holy crap @ the coding and storage for that idea. The way I see it, it's just a lot of copy and paste. Not sure if ClownHammer and Co. is still around, but, if there was a way to have monster specific actions, that'd be great. So like if I met a gangster in red, maybe I'd use a spell instead. And if I can't, then just attack or something. I primarily want it so I can use items on specific monsters.
